On your way to find your mother and aunt, you heard something and began to shiver in fear. It was a clanking sound and you were scared because it was so dark now, the forest blocking out the shattered moon. Suddenly, three robotic beings arrived, and the yellow one looked at you and tilted it's head a small bit. The red one and black one began to speak. (I'm aware this is Triborg from MKX, and his description on the MKX wiki states he wants to kill every organic being or transform them. But this is my fic and I can introduce him how I want to)

Red: Cyrax, shouldn't we just kill this one and be on our way?
Black: Sektor!! We only kill those who we HAVE TO, not an innocent 8 year old child
The one they called Cyrax then spoke
Cyrax: Both of you shut it!!! Sektor, Smoke is correct. We do not kill the innocent, especially such a young child. We should fuse, we don't want to scare this one anymore.
With that, the red one who you now knew as Sektor, and the black one named Smoke, began to fuse to Cyrax

He then knelt down and looked at you
Cyrax: Who are you, and what are you doing all alone here little child?
Y/N: My name is Y/N Rose-Branwen and I ran away from home because... I was abused and beaten.
You then began to cry. Cyrax gently held you close as you cried, your tears dropping onto his armor plating but it didn't affect him.
Cyrax: Who abused and beat you?
Y/N: My dad, Taiyang Xiao Long. He forced my sisters to beat me. They hated it but they were forced to. I left to find my mother Summer Rose and my Aunt Raven Branwen. I don't consider myself a Xiao Long, only a Rose or a Branwen. Summer and Raven were the people who loved me no matter what I did, and Taiyang turned violent when Summer left. My aunt Raven controls a tribe around here in the forest. She always let me visit there, I want to be with her again
Cyrax nodded his head and stood up, scanning the forest for Raven or her tribe. He found the way and left digital light footprints.
Cyrax: Follow those footprints and they'll lead you to your aunt. If you ever need me, use this. It'll let me know you need to speak with me or if you are in danger. Be safe young Rose-Branwen
He took out something from his chest and handed it to you. You placed it in your bag and hugged him before you watched as rockets appeared from his back and he flew off. You began heading for Raven's tribe camp, determined to find both Raven and Summer.

This is the thing Cyrax gave you. It can open communication with him via hologram or can send distress signals to him. You just needed to say "Hologram: Cyrax/Sektor/Smoke" or "Distress: Triborg". Those would be the only ways to get Cyrax's attention. And the device is highly advanced so it knows when to send the calls and when not to. For example, you could say "This thing can allow me to talk to a hologram Cyrax" and it'd know you were talking about it, not wanting to talk to Cyrax. When you say "Hologram" it will ask you "Sektor, Cyrax, or Smoke?" You just needed to say which one you wanted to talk to and it'd allow you to talk (you don't use the Xiao Long because of Taiyang beating you, and you use Branwen because Raven was more of a parent than an aunt)
