“if i had the wrong person, would you still be sitting here?” i accused.

 

“well, i guess i probably wouldn’t.” you admitted.

 

you had already finished your coffee, a mocha, and i was nearing the bottom of my mug, pure black with a little bit of sugar.

 

“ready to go?” i asked, tossing the flimsy cardboard mug into the trash can beside me. you nodded.

 

i stood up and walked to my truck, not bothering to wait for you, i knew you would follow. you were too interested in this whole thing to give up now.

 

as soon as i got into my truck, you walked out of the cafe doors and looked around for me. it was sort of endearing, you looked like a lost puppy even though you had been completely fine just minutes ago without me in your life.

 

when i caught your attention from the drivers seat, i motioned for you to get in the car.

 

you walked around to the passenger side door and tried the handle.

 

i sighed, “you’re going to have to pull hard, im sorry.”

 

this had happened all too many times. couldn’t it have been the drivers side door that got too rusty to open properly? that way i wouldn’t have to embarrass myself every time i drove someone somewhere.

 

you tried again, pulling harder than before.

 

the door swung open seemingly easier than you had expected, and you stumbled backwards.

 

“you alright?” i chuckled, even though it probably wasn’t a laughing matter.

 

you smiled and nodded, shaking it off like it was no big deal.

 

“well, back to the park?”

sorry this is kind a boring chapter yay for fillers haaa

anyways the lovely idkshaskia has translated colorless (my other story)(if you don't know what im talking about go read it hey) to the indonesian language! im so excited i think it's going to turn out really cool (:
