Chapter 4

Maddy's POV

I walked away and heard him calling after me. Don't turn around Maddy. Don't. He is not the same person as he was two years ago. He is bad now. He is....he just.....ugh! What is wrong with me!?

You're still in love with him. My subconscious said. No, i'm not. So....i don't love him. Yes, you do. My subconscious said again. No, i don't. How can i still love him after what he did to me? I sighed.

I need Brooklyn and Niall. Now. I walked to their lockers and waited for them. They are always late. Talking with other people and stuff. Their lockers are next to each other. After 5 minutes they came walking towards me and their lockers. "Heeyyy Maddy! Why are you here?" Brooke asked and i sighed.

"I just need to talk to you guys. Now." Niall nodded. "Okay. Let us grab our stuff and then we can go to my place and talk. Is that okay?" Brooke and i nodded. What if they will laugh at me? Or think i'm stupid? I mean..... What's the point in telling them when they will laugh at me!?

"MADDY!! ARE YOU COMING OR NOT!?" Brooklyn yelled in my face and Niall laughed. They already grabbed their stuff. "Uhhmm....... Yeah. I zoned out. Sorry. I'm coming." We walked to Niall's car and stepped in. Soon we drove off to Niall's place.

**Skip the car ride**

We arrived and stepped out of his car. He locked it and opened his front door. We walked in and i closed the door. Soon we all sat down on the couch in the living room. "So... Maddy. What's wrong?"

I sighed again. "Okay. It's Harry. He is....he just.....ugh!" They smirked at me. "You guys had sex already!?" Brooke asked and my eyes widened. "WHAT!? NO! That's not what i wanted to tell you guys. It's not.....something good, i guess." "Oh. I'm sorry Mads." I smiled at her.

"Okay. Tell us what's going on Maddy." I nodded at Niall and i told them everything. I ended up crying.

"Oh Maddy. I'm so sorry. We didn't know....." Brooke said and letted an few tears slip as well. "Okay. I think someone needs a Horan hug." Niall said and then he hugged me. His hugs are the best.

Really. You feel better when he gave you a Horan hug. He pulled back and smiled at me. "Thank you guys for listening to my fucked up story." "It's okay. That's where friends are for." We all hugged each other. I feel better. A lot better. I pulled back. "But...what should i do now?" I can see at their faces that they don't know it as well.

"You can do two things Maddy. You can ignore him and all of that stuff. Or..." Brooke said and Niall finished his sentence. "Or you could talk to him about it and maybe making it work." "Yeah. I know. A part of me wants to ignore him but an other part of me wants him to...to just love me again and just....i want the old Harry back. Now he is so...so...." I sighed heavily.

"We know that Mads. We want you two back together to. We hate to see you two separated. But we can't change that. The only one who can do that is you Maddy. And Harry. Do whatever you want. Do what feels good Maddy." Niall said and i nodded. "Okay. I'm gonna go home. I'm tired. See you two tomorrow at school then?" They nodded and smiled at me. I smiled back and walked towards the front door.

Once i was outside i closed the door behind me. I walked back home. What should i do? I just need my Harry back. After a good twenty minutes walking i arrived at home. I opened the door and walked inside. I closed the door behind me and walked into the living room. "Hey Maddy." My mom said.

"Hi mom." "Dinner is ready. I already ate." I nodded. I'm not hungry at all. "Thank you but i'm not hungry. Sorry." She nodded and smiled at me. "It's okay Mads. You still miss him huh?" I nodded and she hugged me. I love my mom. She is always there for me and she understands me.
