Saving a life

Hi.
I haven't updated this book for a while, so I decided to do something angsty for Teen Dating Violence Awareness month!!

Whee.

"What the fuck was that?" Connor yelled, slamming Evan's bedroom door.

"I- uh- what?"

"You let her touch your hair. Only I ever touch your hair."

Evan cowered. "I-I'm sorry, m-master.. Pl-please don't h-hurt me."

"If you were sorry, you would have told her to stop." He said coldly.

"I-I didn't think--"

"WELL, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THOUGHT!!" He screamed, punching a wall.

Evan ran into the corner in fear, tears running down his cheeks.

"WHAT MATTERS IS WHAT HAPPENED!"

Connor walked over and held Evan against the wall. Evan whimpered.

Connor punched him in the face and kicked him in the stomach.

Tears ran down Evan's face along with blood.

"You are mine and mine only. Others can not touch you."

At the same time, Evan pocket-dialed Jared.

Jared answered immediately.

He went silent immediately. He heard crying, screaming, yelling, hitting...

He hung up and called Zoe. Thank god she was with Alana.

"Hello?"

"We need to sneak into Evan's house. Right now."

"Is it Connor?"

"Yes. And he's worse."

"Worse then he was when he was with Curtis?"

"Way worse."

"Oh god. We're getting over there."

Jared and the girls met up in front of Evan's house.

"I'll get Evan, you guys hold off Connor. Once Ev and I are out, I'll call the cops."

They agreed.

They snuck to infront of Evan's door. They heard sobbing, yelling and kicking. Jared couldn't stand it..

"3.. 2.. 1."

They then slammed open the door.

Connor turned around in surprise. He tried to act casual.

"Oh, hey."

Jared immediately ran over to Evan. Connor tried to swing at Jared, but Zoe held him back.

"LET'S GO!!" Jared yelled, opening the window. He and Evan quickly climbed out.

In panic, Alana went into badass mode.. And totally had Connor out in one punch.

Once Jared and Evan were outside, Jared called the cops.

Once he hung up, Evan hugged him.

"Thank you.. Thank you, thank you, thank you.."

Jared had a noticeable blush as he hugged back.

"HOLY SHIT!!" They heard from inside the room. They looked in through the window.

Zoe was holding Connor's hoodie in one hand and a gun in the other.

"This was in his pocket.."

Evan let out a gasp of fear and hurt.
