"See you later, Angelica!" Thomas and Angelica were at a park and Thomas had just left. Angelica had found herself smiling and waving helplessly as he left. She was in love, but she wouldn't admit it. She had fallen in love before, but she had gotten hurt.

If there's a prize for rotten judgment,
I guess I've already won that

Alexander Hamilton, her first love, had recently married her sister. John Church, her ex-husband, had cheated on her many times. She had a rotten judgment of men.

No man is worth the aggravation
That's ancient history, been there, done that

She didn't want to get hurt again.

A little part of her still wanted to experience true love. Her heart told her to trust Thomas, but her mind said no.

No chance no way I won't say it, no no

She yelled at the sky. She didn't want to get hurt.

(You swoon you sigh why to deny it oh-oh)

Her phone lit up, it was a message from Thomas.

Thomas: Hey Angie, guess what? I'm going to play the hero in our school play!

Angelica got cast as the hero's love interest. She blushed at the thought of being in a romance with Thomas.

It's too cliche I won't say I'm in love

They were best friends, she knew it was cliche.

I thought my heart had learned its lesson

She was truly never satisfied.

It feels so good when you start out

Every romance she had started great, but ended terribly.

My head is screaming "Get a grip girl
Unless you're dying to cry your heart out

She groaned and walked towards the lake.

Girl, you can't deny it

Her heart yearned for love, but her mind denied it.

She was at the lake and began skipping stones.

"I can't be in love again." She whispered to herself.

Her heart said yes, but her mind said no.

Her phone lot up again. It was a message from Eliza.

Eliza: So how was your date with Thomas?

(We'll do it until you admit you're in love)

Angelica rolled her eyes and responded.

Angelica: it wasn't a date

You're way off base I won't say it
Get off my case I won't say it

Eliza: Sure, the whole world knows that the two of you are in love, you guys are the only ones who haven't realized it.

Eliza: And you used incorrect grammar when you use incorrect grammar, you don't think straight

(Girl don't be proud it's okay you're in love)

Angelica sighed.

Angelica: You can believe whatever you want to believe.

Her phone lot up again. It was Thomas this time.

Thomas: Are we going to rehearse our lines together? Since you're playing my love interest.

At least out loud I won't say I'm in love

Angelica giggled.

"Maybe this will work out." She whispered to herself.

Okay, all done. I currently have like 13 drafts in my 'works' section. I have lots of ideas that I need to write. So I'll probably not update as often (per story). Thanks for reading!
