Prologue

Jimin's POV

"I want this case, please, Taehyung." I was practically begging now. I've been trying to get the Min Yoongi case for weeks now, and I feel like he might finally be giving it to me.

"Jimin, if I give you this case, you have to promise you'll be back in one piece. You know how dangerous this is." he said, holding the file in the air.

"Yes sir, I know, but you know I'm the best on the force. If anyone can take him down, I can. Please sir." I said.

"Ok, but I don't know if I can give you any back up. Everyone else has their own cases to work on." he said, handing me the file.

"That's alright. I don't work well with partners anyways." I said, standing up to go back to my office.

"Oh, and one more thing." he stopped me.

"Yes sir?" I looked at him.

"Don't forget about mine and Hoseok's wedding day after tomorrow." he said, grinning front ear to ear.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." I said, walking out, shutting the door, and going back to my office.

I don't know what's going to happen on this case, so I'm going to wait till after his wedding to actually start it. For now, I'll just review the facts provided.
