Selina's best friend, Mia, is missing.
She is most likely dead.
The police won't do anything because she is a street kid.
That's Gotham for you though.

Selina sat on a rooftop, looking at the Gotham lights, thinking about Mia. Mia liked to look at the lights and think of a better life with a family.
Where could she have gone?
Her old house? Selina looked there.
Arkham? Mia wasn't crazy.
Out of town? Mia didn't trust herself.
The docks? Mia liked to go there. Selina hasn't looked there yet. Why not give it a try?

Low and behold there was her lifeless body, blood dripping onto the wooden peer, causing stains, eyes open.

A tear slipped down Selina's face as she scanned the bullet wounds.

"Damn you, Mia. I warned you." She faintly said to the corpse.

Selina turned around, and started looking for one person, and one person only.
The Penguin, Oswald Cobblepot.

She finally found him at his club, drinking and mingling.

"Oswald!" Selina shouted in tears.

"Selina! How nice if you to join us!" He laughed, seeming to not have a care in the world.

"Who killed Mia?" She yelled at the short man.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He said sarcastically.

"It was you, wasn't it?" The angered girl questioned.

"She new too much." Oswald stated, glaring at Her.

Selina punched the Penguin causing him to stumble back. She marched out of the club in tears, and walked to Mia.

Mia was still there. It wasn't like she could leave, she was dead, she couldn't leave.

Selina picked her lifeless body up, and carried it to an open field of flowers, with one Willow tree.

She laid Mia's body under the tree.
It looked as if she fell asleep under the beautiful plant, but she would never wake up.

Selina gathered flowers, and made a bed around Mia, and closed her lifeless eyes.
She looked beautiful, besides the fact that she had a bullet hole in her forehead.

With her knife, she carved on the tree right beside Mia...
Let me rest here

A little higher, she carved...
The Penguin is to blame

Selina took one more look at her friend. Besides the bullet hole in her forehead, she looked like an angel.

Selina turned around and visited the field every Saturday.

I'm sorry for being gone for so long.
I'm back though!
And sorry for the typos.
