It's been a week since the boys have been back.

And let me tell you, it's been so fun honestly.

This week went by fast. School was simple, annoying and alright. It was annoying because I just wanted each day to be over. Our last period of the day always seemed to go the longest. I was always so anxious to leave school, even though I had work everyday after school.

Work today was pretty busy, but it kept me busy. I enjoy work a lot. I enjoy being a waitress but it is not what I wanna do for the rest of my life. I really don't know what I wanna do for the rest of my life. But that's okay right now honestly. I just wanna live and enjoy life right now.

I have been saving my money for about 4 years. I've been working at the diner for that long now. And I've got quite a bit of money saved up from all those years. So honestly after I graduate, I wanna travel somewhere. If it's my mom and I, Lexi and I. I don't care. I just wanna travel. I've always wanted to travel since I was little.

Oh, and to top today off, it's my birthday. My 18th birthday. It's been a good day so far. I've just been in a good mood all day. Lexi kept telling everyone at school that it was my birthday and that they needed to celebrate for me. She is absolutely crazy.

Since I've been in such a good mood, I think that's why I'm enjoying work so much today. I've been all over the place at work today and I've gotten a lot of tips. I can't wait to count all the tips I've gotten today.

Oh, and before I left work, my work family had bought me a cake for my birthday. Everyone in the diner sang 'happy birthday' to me and I had to blow out the candles on the cake. It made me so happy that my work family is so genuine and sweet. They're honestly like another family to me. Being at the diner for 4 years have changed me a lot. The people here, the environment, just everything here has been truly amazing.

I was on my way home now, just about there. I didn't have anything really planned for the night. Lexi said we're definitely doing something tomorrow, since she's busy tonight. I don't know what E and Gray are doing, but that's okay. I know my mom will have a cake made, since she makes me one every year. And every year she makes me a marble, layered cakewith chocolate frosting.

My favorite.

I pulled into the driveway. I parked my car and got out. When I got out, it was quiet. It was just after 8pm this evening. The sun was setting and it was just chill and quiet out.

As I was walking to the front door, I glanced over to the Dolan yard. Their yard light was on and Sean's car was there, meaning he was home also.

I went to the front door and opened it. "I'm home!" I hollered to my mom.

She didn't answer.

I furrowed my brows. I kicked my shoes off and I hung my purse on the coat hook.

The house was quiet. To quiet. It seemed really odd. It was never this quiet. Ever.

I walked down the hallway. The closer I got to the kitchen, the weirder it got. Like I had a feeling something was going to happen.

As I just about got to the kitchen, I heard someone whisper and then laugh.

What the hell?

I got to the kitchen. Once I was in the kitchen, everyone screamed at me. "Happy birthday!" Mom, Lexi, Grayson, Ethan, Lisa and Sean were all here.

"What's all this?!" My moth gaped open at the sight in front of me. My cake was sitting on the island with candles in it. There were balloons, a boquet of flowers and a big bag sitting on the counter that said 'happy birthday'.
