I felt something tickling my nose, waking me from my sleep. "Hmm?" I groaned, hiding my face under the blanket.

"Baby, get up." I heard Grayson chuckle.

"No, I just wanna sleep." I said and the blanket was soon ripped off my face.

"You have been." He laughed. "It's almost noon."

"Oh shit, it is?" I looked up at him.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"I was sleeping good until you woke me up." I said, turning my body around so my back was to him.

"You've been sleeping for almost 12 hours. I think that's enough sleep." I felt his fingers trace against my arm.

"I had to catch up on my sleep. I haven't slept barely. It felt good to finally sleep." I yawned.

"I know, you were snoring last night. You were dead to the world." He chuckled. I soon sat up in bed, knowing I should get up now since I slept a part of the day away.

"I could sleep all day." I yawned again.

"Get up lazy ass." Grayson kissed my temple. "Get changed. Your dad is making lunch."

"Okay." I sent Grayson a smile. He smiled back and soon left the room. I stretched, having my back crack. I sighed, getting up off the bed. I went to the dresser and got a new pair of clothes. I got a pair of skinny jeans and a navy blue top. I grabbed my bra, my bathroom things and went to the bathroom.

I flicked the light on and shut the door behind me. I looked at myself in the mirror. The dark circles were a lot more prominent than last night. But honestly, I wasn't as tired as I was. My eyes were still a little red from all the crying.

But other than that, I felt a lot better than last night. Maybe all I needed was Grayson..

I grabbed my tooth brush and paste and started brushing my teeth. After that, I brushed the knots out of my hair and threw it up in a high ponytail. I changed my clothes quickly.

I looked back at myself in the mirror. I went in my makeup bag and popped on some mascara just for something. I put on deodorant and some perfume and I was done for the day.

I walked out of the bathroom and went downstairs. As I was walking down the hallway, I heard Grayson and dad talking.

"Thank you coming again, Grayson. I knew she really needed you last night." Dad said.

"You're welcome, Ron. I knew something was up with her lately but she wouldn't tell me. I'm glad I came when I did." Grayson's voice said, making me smile.

"It smells good in here." I said, walking into the kitchen. "What are you making dad?"

"Well I have your favorite cake baking in the oven.." He sent me a smile.

"Marble cake?" I smiled, walking over to him.

"Yup, a layered one and it'll have chocolate frosting." He said and I smiled even wider. I always loved that both of my parents could cook and bake. Well, my dad could bake a couple things, like boxed cake and stuff like that. Mom did more homemade baking. It was always a plus having both parents that could cook.

"Why are you making it?" I asked as I jumped up onto the counter. Where I was sitting, I was facing Grayson, who was sitting at the island.

"Because I wanted to cheer you up. Can't a father do that for his daughter?" He asked as he checked on the cake in the oven. It was done and he took it out, setting it on the counter.
