Kimberly's POV

I'm home getting ready for my date with Mr. Matthews tonight right know it's 7:50 "OK he'll be here in ten minutes" I checked myself in the mirror once again

As I look in the mirror I thought to myself is this too much well it doesn't matter he'll be here soon and at that thought my doorbell rang "OK here we go" when I opened the door there he was smashing as ever

Gosh this man could wear a yellow onesie and still look good in it oh God forgive me for my sinful eyes

James POV

As I was walking to her apartment door I was thinking about what she said to me in her office who would say such things to someone so kind and beautiful to night I was going to show her the time of her life I knocked on the door and when it opened I saw an angel she looked absolutely gorgeous in her red dress I just couldn't take my eyes off of her when I realize I've been standing there for 2 minutes now just staring at her she spoke "um you look nice" she was adorable the way she spoke looking everywhere but me so I decided to toy with her a little "nice just nice?" "N-no i um i-i mean..." Just watching her search for what to say satisfied me enough "come on" I hold out my hand for her to take it she hesitates for a while then takes my hand

Kimberly's POV

I took his hand and he led me to his car

"Nice 2015 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster" I looked back at him he looked surprised then he smirked "thanks" he opened the door for me after thanking me I never thought I would ever be in one of these cars I always liked how the doors opened Mr. Matthews got in the drivers seat and drove off it was silent I was never good with silence let alone people period I became nervous and started to mess with my bracelet "first date?" I chuckled "is it that obvious?" "Yes" "so um where are we going?" "You'll see" he said looking forward I smiled and looked out the window

We arrived at this beautiful restaurant Mr. Matthews got out paid the valley and opened my door for me I looked up "Doras?" "Yes" I looked at him "this place is expensive" he just looked at me and smiled and walked into the restaurant he went to the receptionist "reservation under Matthews?" The receptionist just smiled "this way sir we've been waiting for you" Mr.Matthews held out his hand and I took it walking to our table "this place is nice" "yeah" with that it got silent I stole a glance at Mr. Matthews and saw that he was starting me the made me look away gosh this is embarrassing why is he starting at me like that "so..." He spoke and I looked up "I see that you know your cars that's sexy" I smile looking at him "yeah my big brother worked on cars as a hobbie and as a little sister I always followed him so he showed me evrerthing" "does he still work on cars?" I looked down "um no him and my parents died when I was 8 to a mugging" I looked up and saw sadness on his face "I'm sorry" I smile "it's ok even though it was for a short time I know that they loved me so it's OK"

James POV

I looked at her and saw through that smile I guess it pained her to talk about what happened a few seconds later our waiter came over I looked up at her and she was just starting at me batting her eyelashes I just look back at Kimberley "hello and welcome to Doras what would you like handsome?"

Kimberly's POV

The waiter came chest poking out face caked with makeup thinking to myself I thought she's trying to hard she welcomed us to Dora's more like welcomed Mr. Matthews he didn't say anything to her he just stared at me "um can I get a lobster with Alfredo on the side" "same for me" she wrote what we wanted "and to drink?" "I'll have water" "and you hun?" this girl was really trying to hard "I'll have a Stella rosa" "someone has a sweet tooth" she said winking at him Mr.Matthews looked at her then at me again "lastley dessert may I suggest out special cakes?" "I would take the um leman vanilla" I looked up and she gave me a disgusting look I just closed my menu and handed it to her looking down "I think I'll have one too" Mr.Matthews said looking up at her smiling "I do have a sweet tooth for something delicious" he winked at her "and what flavor do you wasn't handsome?" "hmm my favorite" he paused and then looked at me "chocolate" he started at me and handed the waiter his menu she walked away and I looked at him shocked he smiled at me and I returned it

Kimble's POV
After we ate and talk we where out side waiting for his care to come around then his phone rang "hello... What do you want... Out... No... Business dinner... I was having a business dinner... Yeah yeah yeah I'll call you later" when he hung up i thought to myself a business dinner I thought this was a date what was I thinking why would I think that my boss wanted to have a sweet dinner with me I'm too trusting what was I thinking maybe he pitied me because I was crying it doesn't matter now I just want to go home his car pulled up I didn't wait for him to open the door I quickly got in and he followed "that was a nice dinner" I gave him a small yeah looking out the window the whole ride to my apartment was quiet when we got there I quickly got out thanking him for tonight not making eye contact and ran to my place hearing him call my name i just keeping going opening and locking my door why am I so stupid

James POV

I watched as she ran to her apartment calling her name I wonder what happened did I do anything something she closed her door I sighed got in my car and drove off
