Tell me a very bizarre thing-

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

I almost died in shock as Torill and Astrid blew horns while I was still sleeping.

"Tori, the confetti-"

"Yeah, I know but, it's kind a hard to-"

The confetti exploded right before they finished their sentences.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE SIS!" They both screamed as I smiled on how adorable they are with those birthday hats.

"Ugh, thank you very much!" I giggled.

The two of them hopped into my bed and jumped like small kids even though they're three and four years older than me.

"Get up now, Ingrid!" Tori threw a pillow in me.

"Yeah, I will." My smile never falters.

"Happy 22nd birthday, sis." Astrid smiled, stroking my hair behind my ear.

"Thank you." We both giggled.

"She's gonna cry, she's gonna cry!" Tori joked, a grin is written on her face.

"What? No way!"

"Okay, that's enough now. Let's get this day started, yeah?" Astrid said as she crossed her arms in her chest, being the most gorgeous older sister on us.

"Let's call mom and dad first, they said we should call them again when Ingrid woke up." Tori mentioned as she stood up.

"Oh yeah, we will. Come on, Ingrid!" Astrid smiled.

"Just wait after I get ready, yeah?" I smiled back.

"Yeah, sure." Astrid and Tori exited the room- and then I realized how messy our room is after the confetti.

Well, this is my day, I guess.

I get up from my bed, stretching a little bit before going into the bathroom to get ready.

After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I walked into the mirror and fixed myself with a smile that never falters.

I put my long, light-brown hair into a bun, put some shorts and a tank-top, but before I get going, I noticed how happy I am, how contented I am with what I have.

I know that I'm that kind of person who is always positive on different things and all I wished for my birthday is that I would finally perform my newly composed song infront of my family and to see them happy and proud.

It's the results that I'm just waiting and I hope that it'll end good but, if it's not, then I'll just try and try again.

"Ingrid, mom and dad is on the video call now!" Tori yelled that startled me.

"Coming!" I went into the living room where my sisters were sitting in a couch, infront of them was our laptop with mom and dad's faces on it.

"There she is!" Dad waves his hand.

"Happy birthday, honey!" Mom greeted with a wide smile on her face.

I guess, being happy is one of our family's nature, we always wear smile on our faces.

"Thank you mom, thank you dad!" I waved back, my smiled was wide as theirs.

"We were really sorry that our flight was delayed but, we promise that we will celebrate your birthday tomorrow when we arrive, yeah?" Dad said.

"Oh c'mon, dad! It's not your fault so don't be sorry!" I chuckled.

"Yeah, Ingrid is right!" Tori nods.

"Just be safe in your flight, okay?" I smiled.

"Sure, honey!" Mom said.

"Mom? Dad? Mind if we...?" Astrid moved her gaze to Tori who is now smirking like they have a plan.

"What is it, honey?" Mom asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Tori and I decided to take Ingrid to a club tonight, you know? Just for fun." Astrid stated- Wait, what?

"Huh? No, you don't!" I gasped.

"That'll be fun!" Dad said.

"Yeah, it is! Just don't drink too much alcohol and stay away from men that-" Mom stated.

"Ofcourse, mom! Don't worry, we will take care of our little Ingrid here!" Astrid slightly elbowed me.

"What? No! You know that I'm not the kind of person who go through places like that!" I argued.

"C'mon sis, you're already twenty-two but you still keep going through children parties, like oh my god? What's wrong to try something new?" Tori teased.

"You sister have a point there, honey." Mom said.

I sighed.

Well, I guess I have no choice. It's me versus four here so, I can't argue anymore.

"Do I have a choice?" I smiled frantically.

"Okay, all is done!" Tori and Astrid celebrated. Well, they have to because, this is the first time that I'm going into a club.

I mean, that's very bizarre.

"Just don't drink too much, we still have a party to celebrate tomorrow." Mom gave us our precautions and the three of us nod simultaneously.

"See you tomorrow mom, dad! We're going to start this day now, yeah?" Astrid said.

"Okay. See you tomorrow and we love you!" Mom blows a kiss.

"Happy birthday again, Ingrid! We love you!" Dad waved his hand.

"We love you too!"

The video call has ended and the three of us started to get ready before going to work.

Astrid work as a nurse here in new york, Tori work as a news broadcaster and a dj radio in their station, while me, I work to a coffee shop and sometimes, in my free time, I hunt for some gigs with Joey, the bassist in our band.

I'm so thankful for my life, being happy and lucky having those people around me and I don't want to say this though, but I feel that there's something big is going to happen today.

This could be the best day in my life.
