Lucas when he is confused on how to deal with a situation to do with you. He had no experience with relationships whatsoever, and he always asked for advice from his dad, who only made the matter even more of a puzzle. You seemed unhappy to him, and have a low self esteem, told everyone including Lucas that you're 'gross and ugly', and Lucas doesn't ever know how to react.
"Dad, how do you make a girl happy?" Lucas asks, his face portraying complete and utter confusion, wanting to find a way to make Y/N be happy with herself.
"Just, act as if everything she says is right." His father answers, causing Lucas to shake his head.
