Steve is your boyfriend, to start off with, but you begin to hang out with Jonathan, who teaches you that not all boys have to be jocks to be cool, and charming. You were friends with Jonathan, and Steve noticed this, making him react in a very extreme way, and his friends openly call you a slut and a whore in front of him, and he doesn't do anything to stop them, but Jonathan is always there for you, and sticks up for you.
"Fucking asshole." Jonathan mumbles, stumbling towards Steve before throwing his fist forward, hitting Steve in the face with all of his strength, knocking the boy to the ground, "Y/N deserves better than you," he whispers, staring at Steve's unconscious body, lying on the ground.
