The next day, Lola noticed that Riley was acting off. He seemed to be floating in some dream-like state. His dark green eyes were floating with a lighter hue than usual along with a permanent smile planted upon his lips.
She questions him. pressing her hip against the locker, "What's up with you? You're acting strange."
He just turns to her and gives her an open-mouthed smile, "It's nothing sis."
Lola rolls her eyes, "Whatever you say."
She notices that he seems to be seeing past her, into a faraway land with dazed eyes. Or so it seems.
Lola's turns around to see what caught his attention. Her eyes glided from her friends, Samantha and Tyra in the distance and then to the jocks chuckling. But then, her eyes land on a beautiful tall girl, with short crimson hair. The best feature of her by far were the gorgeous baby blue eyes she flaunted.
He sighs in obvious content as his body relaxes, more than he ever did around her. Giving Lola a quick side hug, he lets out a quick goodbye.
"Bye Lola, I'm going to go talk to Will now."
Then the crowd of people overbears her. Lola slowly dissolves into another mindless body.
