Riley was absolutely ecstatic about Lola giving his beloved girlfriend a chance. Lola, though slightly aggravated, agreed to meet up with her in the following lunch period.
She silently waited at their table whilst picking at the disgusting spaghetti she bought from the lunch lady. Waves of regret wash over her when gazing at the poorly cooked meatballs and soggy spaghetti.
Samantha and Tyra were currently at a gymnastics club. So, Lola was left on her own. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. When she turned around, she saw the pair she was waiting for, hand in hand. Both were treading towards her with an intense aura of happiness radiating.
As they sat down in front of her, Riley grinned wildly.
"Hey little sis," he leant over the table and ruffled her hair.
She stuck her tongue out at him. Then, she looked at the other person awkwardly sitting there. Her hands were tightly folded on her lap.
"Hey Victoria," she firmly addressed, careful not to show any sign of weakness.
"Hey Lola."
