From a Duo to a Trio : the first year

Thankful For you

It was thanksgiving day, their first thanksgiving as a family of three, and the their house would be filled with family.. they were super excited

They came back from their morning jog with Ava

" you did good Ally" he said coming into the house

Ally was completely out of breath, her face flushed red as she struggles to catch her breath

" I'm so glad you decided to run with me and work out with me.. makes it a lot more fun!" He said

" speak for yourself" she said

" ah it smells so good in here" he smelled

" yes it does, thank Goodness for Elenor and Stephan.. because I was not cooking today!" She said sitting down on the step

She laughed " shut up.."

" anyways.. since it's almost your birthday.." he said

" one national holiday at a time Austin" She laughed

" let's go on a date on your birthday, it's been almost 3 months since we've gone on a date.." he said

" hmmm... I don't know.." she said

" are you turning me down?" He asked

" no just wondering if we can get a babysitter" she said

" yay yay yay!" He said

She covered his mouth " don't wake my daughter.."

They both looked at the sleepy 2 month old in the stroller

They quietly went upstairs to transfer her out of the carrier and into her crib

"Shh" She said as they tip toed out of Ava's room they quietly shut the door

" okay, great.." he said " what should we do now? We got plenty of time before our family and friends gets here.."

" I don't know about you, but I'm sweaty.. and I wanna shower.." she said

" I'm sweaty too!" He said

" there's plenty of bathrooms here!" She joked

" aww" he said

" ohhh baby, I'm kidding, come on.." she grabbed his hand.

Trish and her boyfriend Max arrived first

" it's been too long since I've seen my goddaughter, where is she where is she!!" Trish said excitedly

" her daddy is dressing her in her cute outfit" Ally said

" oh Ally, you remember Max," Trish said

" hey Max how's it going" Ally's said

" great.. sweet mansion!" Max said

" thanks sweetened it myself" Ally bragged

" sure" the couple said

" okay baby girl.. are you ready to see aunty Trish and uncle Dez and and aunt Carrie.. and grandma and grandpa and grandpa?" Austin smiled at his daughter

" we're gonna eat so good.. and you're also gonna eat soooo good and look at those lil feetsies" he cooed

Ava flashed the cutest smile at her father

His eyes widen " oh my God... did you just smile?" He got so excited " mommy is going to freak!!"

Ava smiled again and cooed
