From a Duo to a Trio : the first year

The birthday planning and baby planning?

After  returning from the wedding, everyone was finally home and returned to normal life. It  was approximately 5 weeks until Ava's first birthday and Ally and Austin had been planning vigorously making sure her birthday is the most perfect epic first birthday in the whole world.

They stayed up at night planning, and spent days where they weren't caught up at the studio planning.. Ava's first birthday is probably engraved into their brains each little detail of what they wanted to happen.

On this particular after noon, while they were alone Ava was spending the afternoon with Trish. The couple decided to do a bit of planning

" okay.. her cake has to be white chocolate cake with a bazillion layers!!" Austin said

Ally gave him a weird look " no.. we aren't giving her that many layers"

" 6 layers?"

" lower"

" 4?"

" even lower"

" 1? Ally that's insane!! How are all of us supposed to eat ONE layered cake" he asked

She giggled " you're so cute.. there's going to be two cakes silly.. and cupcakes for the kids.. so having a bazillion layered cake is kinda an over kill"

" the first one will be a small one for the birthday girl the other one will be hmmm.. i guess 4 layers since there's a lot of people coming" she said

" oooh kaaaay ." He said with much relief " can't believe she's turning one"

" I know... she grew up so fast.. I remember when she was this tiny little loud new born.. gosh where has the time gone"  Ally said

" then next year she'll be.." he began

" stop i don't wanna think about that!! I hear terrible twos are crazy.." she said

" yea, she'll be more of a handful than she already is" he said

" yea."she said flipping through her very organized " Ava's first birthday" binder

He thought " hey.."

" what is is?" She asked

He smiled " we should have another baby"

She chuckled " ahahaha.. yea right.. another baby.." she began writing something's down "you're so funny.."

She looked up at him

He gave her a serious look

" oh.. you're serious?" She said

He nodded " I mean why not? She's getting older and we talked about having more kids anyways.. didn't  you say that you wanted our children to be close in age?"

She tapped her pen " yea.. I did, then I had one.. Austin.." she smiled " I don't want another one for a really REAAAALLLY long time"

" hmm?" He asked

" I'm so happy you want to grow our family.. but with everything going on you honestly think we're ready to have another baby?" She asked

" I just want her to have a sibling something we both don't have.. well I don't have since you sort of have a step sister now" he said

" we can't have a baby solely for that reason... we got tour, our other child.. I can't be pregnant right now.." she said

" so no baby?" He asked

" for now.. no.. but I'm not against the idea" she smiled " we have a lot on our plates.. for now let's actually focus on the baby we have now because she's growing way too fast"
