From a Duo to a Trio : the first year

Just as Penny said before, " it will hit you before you know it" it actually did hit her conveniently as they were in their home town for the Miami show..

That week Penny went home to visit her boyfriend as well.

And instead of staying at a hotel, they decided to stay with Austin's parents for a few days and then with Ally's dad, just for the sake of spending time together since it's been a while..

On the car drive to his parents house, she was not feeling well at all

So she leaned against the window closing her eyes her arms wrapped around her self

" you sure you'll be okay for the show tomorrow night?" He asked her

She nodded before covering her mouth
" you good? " he said
" I'm trying hard not to throw up right now" she said

" we're almost there.. like 14 minutes away, can it wait?" He asked her

She sighed leaning back on the seat

Ava of course was in her seat watching her cartoons kicking happily singing along, or attempting to

" Ally you still wanna go to the music factory?" He asked

She shrugs

" we haven't been since Christmas" he said " we should go after my parents house.. I'm sure they'd love to spend time with Ava so we can go!"

She groaned

" come on it will be fun." He said

She looks at him in pain
" or we can stay rest we had a long flight" he said

" mom dad!" Austin said hugging his parents
" son!" They both said
" hi baby" Mimi said " come here"
Ava shies away
" she's just being a little shy.. we missed you it's so good to be home!" He said

" we're glad to have you three here!" Mike said

" Ally how are you?" Mimi said hugging her
" I'm good.. how are you?" Ally responded
" oh sweetie you should sit down.." Mimi said directing her to the living room
" another kid huh?" Mike said

" yea.. we're super excited." Austin said

" Ava you're happy to have a little sister or brother honey?" Mike asked her

Ava burries her face into her fathers neck
Austin chuckles " she'll warm up in about five minutes.."

" oh and we would have been here a lot sooner.. but Ally got sick.. and now I have to clean the rental car" Austin said

" oh no.." Mike said
" yea..it also explains why she's in my sweater in 85 degree weather" Austin added " it was a disaster"

" is there anything we could do?" Mike asked

Austin shrugs " it's okay dad..she felt a lot better after.. so that's good.. just sucks we had to be in a puked car for 20 minutes.. with the windows rolled down"

" how are you honey?" Mimi asked putting her hands on Ally's hands

" I could be better" Ally replies
" If there's anything, anything at all!! I can do just let me know hon.." Mimi said
Ally smiles " thank you, but I'm okay!"
" no no no.. sweetie don't be so humble! You're pregnant and clearly not feeling well.. you look so pale" Mimi said touching her face
" I'll be okay.. how's it having your mother on tour?"
"great I just miss her.. but she went home for a couple of weeks so it's strange not having her around again" Ally said " I just wish she wasn't a time zone away"
" i know, but just know you do have me.. you're like a daughter to me, my sons wife, mother of my grandchildren, you're my priority too.. so you let me know anything at all.." Mimi said " Thank you
Mimi fixes Ally's hair " you should get some rest.. and we'll wake you when it's dinner time okay"
