From a Duo to a Trio : the first year

Memory lane part 1

For it being April, it was pretty hot.. they decided to fly home and surprise their parents since they haven't seen Ava in a long time.

Ava was significantly bigger when they last saw her during Christmas.. she was more smiley, giggly, mobile, and with a personality

Austin would often joke that she was 7 months going on 17

" I'm actually terrified taking her on this flight." Ally said

" why? She'll be fine.. you worry too much" he said as he packed

" no I mean there's germs everywhere.. and she doesn't stay still.. speaking of the little devil" Ally looks down at her leg

Ava sat up very close to her mothers leg scratching and grabbing and nawing whining

He looked down.. " she's so much droolier now ugh.. she's got drool all over your leg and herself" he said

" she's teething! She can't help it" she said picking up the baby she places her on the bed

" I don't see any teeth.." he said opening Ava's mouth

She whined with annoyance

" hey.." ally said " she doesn't like that"

" Ava you're gonna let us finish pack or what?" Austin asked

Ava whined

" theres that Ally-ttude" He said

" oh my god shut up.." Ally said

" there's your Ally-ttude" he smiled

She rolled her eyes

Ava rubbed her eyes and cried

" she's tired.." Ally said

" and grumpy" he said " you both are maybe you need a nap too"

" I don't need a nap" Ally said

She lied down with Ava in hopes to get her to calm down but she cried

" why is she crying so much?" He asked going next to them

The pacifier that usually did the trick suddenly didn't work anymore

" she needs a nap.." Ally said " I'm gonna feed her"

Ava pulled at her shirt then rubbed her face

" Hurry" He said

" don't rush me.." she said

" she's rushing you, not me, but give it to her already!" He said " we gotta go.."

They finally got on the air plane and Ava just wouldn't settle down

" honey.. why are you so cranky.." she asked Ava

Ava squirmed around to get comfortable

He noticed that Ally was getting annoyed with Ava pulling at her an not sitting still

" come here" he reaches his hands out for Ava

" hey why are you being such a butt?" He asked her

Ava smiled and begins babbling really loudly

" shhh."

" I really wish she'd sleep" Ally says

" yeaaa.. mmmbut at least shemmm in a better mood" he said as Ava put her hands in his mouth and on his face

A couple hours later the plane finally landed in Florida

" she falls asleep last 20 minutes of the flight. Great." Ally said
