Enter the temple

With his arms crossed and his foot tapping you can see that your father isn't too please with you. "What have I told you about using your powers?" He scolded. "Uh..wait till everyone leaves?" You joked playfully trying your best to avoid another lecture from your old man. Your dad sighed and shook his head. "(Y/N), what am I going to do with you?" "Abandon me and (S/N)(translation: sisters name) on this island?" You replied sarcastically. "Come on your sister is waiting for you at the temple." As he motioned for you to follow him, you quickly turned your head to see a cheeky blue hedgehog waving at you before speeding off. "Lucky." You muttered dragging your feet as you followed your dad to the Bygone temple of peace.

The 15 minute walk felt like torture since you weren't allowed to use your awesome powers with your dad around. As you both finally made it to the temple you gazed upon its beauty, it truly was breathtaking. "Took you long enough." (S/N) bellowed. Her lips curled up in a cocky smirk. It took almost all of your amazing willpower to resist slapping her. So instead you decided to cross your arms (Oh how original reader-chan) and roll your eyes. Behind her an elderly woman in a hooded robe emerged from the shadows. "Ah you must be (Y/N), I've heard so much about you from your sister...not very good things though." She smiled sweetly, "My name is Keihanaikukaukahihulihe, but you may call me sensei." You looked at your father with doubt, he simply shrugged at your unbelieving expression. "You and (S/N) will be staying here for a year or until you can get your powers under control, but I will visit you two once a month so be good girls." With a hand on your shoulder he gave you a comforting smile before hugging you and (S/N) in a tight embrace, you can tell that your father absolutely hated leaving you and (S/N) because he would be alone again. "Oh I almost forgot! I'm giving you this tablet so I can contact you two." He said as he handed you a brand new Samsung tablet. "Alright my super princesses I'm leaving you both in miss Keishaha..er..uh sensei's care so listen to her I love you both." "Bye dad love you too." You and (S/N) said in unison and with that you saw your father make his way back to the van onto another 6 hour drive to (your hometown).(Never to be seen again...lol just kidding) "Okay girls let's get you settled in, we start training tomorrow morning at 4 am sharp." Sensei bowed before going into her room to meditate.

You and (S/N) looked at each other then at the weird old lady. You both walked into your separate rooms and boy was it huge it was much bigger than your old bedroom. As you laid down on your super comfy bed you thought about what happened during your race with Sonic. Why did you think he was cute? I mean he's an animal and it was wrong to think that way...right? That's something (S/N) would be into....the little weirdo. Still you haven't felt that way since your last crush on (ex crush name), sigh he was perfect, the hair, the eyes and his super hot...(ahem, let's keep it pg 13 reader-chan okay?) right everything was perfect when he asked you out and you had your first boyfriend so where did it go wrong? Well It all started with the wicked witch of your old high school (mean girls name). (Flashback time!)

Your p.o.v (point of view)

"(Y/N) wake up or you'll be late for school!" I hear dad yell from outside my bedroom door. Tossing around under my (favourite colour) blanket I barely have enough strength to get out of my cozy bed. "Ugh okay I'm up dad." I lie. 5 minutes later the door swings open and suddenly I'm soaked with below freezing water. "Ahhhhhh!" I screamed as hard as my lungs could allow probably causing every bird in the neighbourhood to fly away, my vision adjusted to see (S/N) holding an empty bucket with an evil grin on her face. Using my super speed I chased her around the house with homicidal intentions. Unfortunately she's just as fast and tricky, knocking down photos and other fragile family possessions the chase lasted for 18 seconds.
I have her cornered with no hope of escaping, just as I was about to remove her from our family tree dad steps in between us stopping the confrontation. "(Y/N) enough! the bus will be here in 6 minutes and your not even dressed hurry up and-" I zoom upstairs to brush my teeth, style my hair and pick out a cute outfit and zoom back downstairs in time hear what my dad was saying. "Please no-" "Okay I'm done can I go now?" I ask impatiently. He looks at me with wide eyes before chuckling and playfully rolling his eyes (Now I see where reader-chan gets it) "Not before you have a nutritious breakfast I made (least favourite breakfast)." "Um I think I hear the school bus pulling up." I say as I try to make a break for it. "Really? I didn't hear anything is it here ear-" Once again I was gone before dad could finish his sentence. "ly?....(YYYY/NNNNN)!!!!" I hear my dad scream in the distance as I zoom to school taking a secret route so no one can see me.

In less than 3 minutes I make it to school and with time to spare. With some loose change in my pocket I use it to buy breakfast at a vending machine. Even with super speed it feels like time goes by painfully slow especially in high school but it's worth it if I get to see (crushes name) my awesome boyfriend. In every class we have together we send each other cute little love notes. I'll never forget that one note saying how much he loves me and that nobody can take my place 'sigh' it was moments like these that made me feel like a Disney princess. But every Disney princess movie has a villainess and that evil queen in this case was (mean girls name). She's bullied me my whole life, she was the 'gets whatever she wants' type and I hate her guts with a fiery passion.
On that worst day ever (mean girls name) pushed me over the edge and I lost control. It happened in the school hallway when (crushes name) walked me to my locker and (mean girls name) walking in front of me knocked my shoulder on purpose with her lame cheerleader strength. "Eww like who dressed you up this morning your mom? Oh that's right you don't have a mom LOSER!!" (mean girls name) taunted before crackling her evil laugh in front of all our classmates. "Don't ever talk about my mother." I growled at her with my fists clenched. "Come on (Y/N) ignore her lets go." (crushes name) said as he tried to lead me away from her. "Listen to your mommy (Y/N) oh I forgot shes dead!" That was the last straw. I did the one thing I promised my father I would never do, I let her have it.

With a powerful roundhouse kick I sent the evil witch flying into a brick wall causing her break every bone in her body. Everyone saw it and even though some hailed me a hero there were those who thought I was a monster. (crushes name) backed away from me with fear in his eyes I tried to apologize and explain what just happened but he didn't want to hear me out. Then he said it, the words I would never hoped to hear in my entire life. "Get away from me you freak! I could never love you....you...MONSTER!!! That last word echoed in my mind ever since, we had to move away and I lost the boy who I thought was going to be my one and only. Everything I thought I knew about love was a big fat lie and I vow to never fall in love ever again....or at least until I find a guy who is equally super. (End of flashback)

With a sigh you stared up at the ceiling thinking about your mother. If only she hadn't devoted her life to science then maybe she would still be here with you, (S/N) and dad living a normal life, going on boring family vacations, nagging you to clean your room and giving you advice about boys. But instead she experimented on you and (S/N) at a young age in hopes of finding a way to reverse aging and heal every disease known to humankind, the end result is that she created two superhuman mutants. The F.B.I caught your mother and had her killed, they wanted you and (S/N) next but your father moved you both to different locations across the country and changed your family's name on multiple occasions for your protection. Closing your eyes you let out another sigh "Mom if you can hear me I just wanna say that I'm sorry for being such a screwup and I miss you so much....we all do." You say before drifting off to sleep.
