Training

Morning came and you were awoken by the sounds of birds chirping on your window. Grabbing your pillow you use it to try and block out the irritating noise, but to no avail. "Will you shut up?!" Angered, you chucked the pillow at the singing headaches. With a few muffled tweets you deduced that you actually hit those birds. Of course you didn't really care, since birds can fly and you weren't a morning person. Grabbing your iPhone you checked the time, 6:00 am; the screen read, your late, with an annoyed sigh you had no choice but to get out of bed and start your training. Following your normal routine you brushed your teeth, washed your hair and face and finally got dressed in some clothes that would be appropriate for combat.
Walking down the stairs with your phone in hand, you text your only trusted friend from high school (best friend name). You giggled at the silly text that was sent to you, missing her already, you briefly reminisced on the days when you both had fun being goofballs."It's nice of you to finally join us (Y/n)". Looking up you see sensei and (S/n) sitting at the breakfast table, waiting for you. Putting your phone away with great swiftness, you sheepishly smiled at the unimpressed woman. "We should start training since you clearly felt no reason to join us for breakfast." She said walking passed you. "Good, I wasn't really hungry anyway." You replied snidely, following her to the temple training area.
When you got there you looked around in awe, it was like being in a Wonder Woman comic or some other cool female superhero battle arena. There were statues and lovely decorated fountains, it would be a shame to have to battle here and possibly destroy the beautiful scenery. What happened next surprised you, with a wave of her cane, demon monsters appeared out of nowhere. Scared and excited, you couldn't wait to beat your frustrations on these creeps. "(S/n) you will go first, unleash your powers to defeat the demons." Sensei said with her eyes closed and her hands behind her back. (S/n)'s eyes glowed white as she commanded lighting from the sky to hit the undead spirits. When that didn't work she spun around at incredible speeds, turning herself into a tornado, even with all other elements of nature to her will (earth, wind, water and fire) nothing seemed to work.

Not one to give up, (S/n) tried one one more element, the rainbow. Focusing all of her positive energy on the targets, (S/n)'s aura turned into a rainbow, and she unleashed a powerful colourful blast that wiped out all enemies on sight. 'Okay that was pretty cool' you think to yourself, you were definitely proud that your little sister had it together under pressure. "(Y/n)." Sensei started, once again her eyes still closed. "Say no more." You say with a cocky grin, cracking your knuckles as you got into your fighting stance preparing for battle. Hundreds of demon foes appeared in front of you, but this time only bigger. Taking a deep breath you ran towards the nasty spirits with unnatural speed, gaining enough momentum for a flying Kung fu kick, destroying 3 of them with the deadly strike. Satisfied, you decided to take it up a notch, clenching your fist you made an aura of (favourite colour) plasma appear around them. With your plasma bolts you blasted 30 of them with perfect aim, when you fought your opponents martial arts style, you quickly realized that you've never had any previous experience with hand to hand combat, everything was based on instinct; and it was wicked awesome. Needless to say you we're having way too much fun kicking butt.

Only one monster, it lurked behind you for a sneaky attack, hearing your 'would be' attacker you quickly turned around and gave it a powerful uppercut sending it flying 60 feet into the air. Bending your knees you jumped into the air after it, giving it an equally powerful kick to the head sending the beast hurling to the ground causing a mini crater. In mid air you use your plasma to give you an extra boost, towards the demon you fell faster than the speed of sound. In short, you were covered in demon juice and boy it was gross. "That will do for today girls, now go wash up, I need you two to go into town to buy some groceries." Said sensei, with a sincere smile, using her magical cane she cleaned the whole arena. You looked at her in shock then at your own clothes. "You know, it would be way faster if you just use that cane thing to clean us up." You suggested. Sensei smiled once more, "Yes it would be, but where's the fun in that? Go on you two don't make me wait." 'For an old lady she sure does have a mouth' you think to yourself.

You sped upstairs to shower and change your clothes all while texting your bestie. Yes, texting while doing everything counts as a special talent, at least in your book. "Here's a list of things I need you get." Said Sensei, as she handed you the paper with the essentials. "And (Y/n), please try not to use your powers unless it's necessary." She added. You nodded at her, for everyone's sake you decided not to give her lip. With your little sister trotting happily behind you, the two of you made your way to the nearest market.
