When I was born, my "mother" was compelled to believe that she had given birth to me. My real mother went on the run from my grandfather who comes to visit me every now and then, against my father's wishes. The woman I live with, Renee and her daughter and her new husband are all moving away, so I go with Renee and her husband while her actual daughter, Isabella, goes to live with her birth father.
Halfway to Florida, we meet my father and he compels them to let me go with him as he is my real father. Renee allows it and leaves with her husband.
Klaus, my father takes me to his mansion in Mystic Falls and I live there with him for the next three years.
