Stepping outside, my first thought was to call Red, and tell him I hadn't found anything. But it'd only been 20 minutes before I'd left. Seconds thought was to go home, give up. He should turn up tomorrow, right? I mean I wouldn't even be bad if he did. He'd live fine wouldn't he? What could possibly go wrong? Final thought was to check around the back and the alley of the Grill. I went with the third choice. As I was approaching the back, my phone buzzed. Red.
"Found anything?" The phone came alive before I could answer
"No, he's not at the grill. Now about to check the back" I responded
"He's not at the Bat Cave... But he was here, earlier. Really early. Like 10 minutes after school ended. And he looked in a bad mood apparently, so be careful"
"Alright, thanks"  I hung up, moving towards the back, quietly as to not alert him if he was there. I approached from the left, the shadowed end, and came up on the alleyway. The only thing that was in the alleyway was the dumpster that the deal was dumped in.
This was where I found him. And that was where everything changed
