Chapter 18: Dance Class

We were all seated in the dance room while waiting for the teacher.

Jackson and Yoongi were at the back of the room while Jimin and Taehyung were outside the door.. Guarding it of course..

Yoongi was bragging to Jackson of how good of a dancer I was..

Ahhh.. This uncle...

Suddenly 2 people entered the room. One of them had a familiar face which made me smile.

My classmates were murmuring about the person.

Teacher: Okay class. We have a special guest today. You may know her as Sunmi. She is an Idol who can help us with different genres of dances for today only. She will choose about only 6 people to dance with. 3 Girls and 3 boys will join her. Today, she will be teaching ballroom dancing for the upcoming event just in case.

People let out 'oooss'.

Teacher: Be nice to her. Now Sumni-sunbaenim.. Please choose 6 people.

Suddenly he went up to Sunmi's ear to whisper her something.

She smiled and looked at me.

She nodded as he motioned back.

She looked at all of us and smiled.

Sunmi: First pair is you and you.

She pointed to Eunwoo and Eunji.

W o w...

Eunwoo let out a soft 'yess' while punching the air slightly.

Sunmi: Then you and you..

She points to Mark and Joy.

Lastly she eyed me and Jungkook.

Sunmi: Y/N and Jungkook are the last pair.

She said looking at our dance teacher.

Teacher: Okay! You six go with Sunmi in the corner while we are gonna learn Jazz today.

I'm so happy I'm a princess because I am seriously not into jazz...

Sunmi gathers us in the corner and starts her introduction.

Sunmi: Annyeonghaseo! You must know me as Sunmi! So I can see that Y/N and Jungkook are already dressed for the dance.

I pout at her.

Y/N: Unniee... Why are you so formal.. Stop it.

I said hitting her arm slightly making her chuckle.

Everyone in the circle raised one eyebrow except the 2 of us.

Jungkook whispered in my ear.

Jungkook: Jagi.. What's your relation to her?

I smiled at him.

Y/N: Oh! Yeah.. I forgot to say. She is like a big sister to me! She goes to the pala- I mean. She goes to my house to teach me how to dance and sing....

Sunmi: She sings very well. Jungkook is very lucky to have a girl like her.

She said nudging Jungkook with her elbow.

Mark interrupts the moment.

Mark: Can we get started now?

Sunmi smiled.

Sunmi: Sure. Let's begin!

She began to teach us the basics of ballroom dancing and it made me and Jungkook less uncomfortable when we are really close to each other.
