I was beyond tired. I barley fell asleep. I think I got two hours of sleep.

I dragged myself to my locker and grabbed my history book and shoved it in my book bag.

I had a test Monday which I didn't even start studying for.

"Hey" I heard ally say behind me.

"Hi" I mumbled shutting my locker.

I turned around and looked at her. She looked guilty. She pulled on her strap on her book bag.

"I'm really sorry about last night , I don't know what happened with me" she said.

I shrugged and began to walk. She caught up with me.

"I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have left like that, I dragged you to the party, I didn't even hang out with you" She said.

"It's fine" I said over it.

"It's not" she sighed.

"I gotta get to class" I said leaving her alone in the empty hall way.

I tried going to the nurse and faked being sick but that was a fail. She took my temperature and it was completely normal.

I was stuck going to English class. I walked in and took a seat in my usual spot.

Ally walked in with Jake. He was talking to her. She looked at me.

I looked away and stared down at my notebook.

"Hey she said sitting in front of me like usual.

"Hi" I said writing today's date at the top of a clean page.

"Should we work on our poem today" she asked with hope in her voice.

"Maybe" I shrugged.

She nodded and turned around.

Ms. Smith wasn't here today. She was taking a personal day. We had a free period.

I got up and collected my things. I sling my bag across my shoulder.

"Where are you going" ally asked turning around.

"Library" I said.

"I'll come with" she said standing up.

"Ally" Jake waved her over.

She frowned. I shrugged and walked out the class room.

I entered the library and went to the bean bags. I sat in the red one and reached my hand under it to grab pride and prejudice.  I began to read the fourth chapter.

"Reading without me huh" ally said.

I looked up at her. She placed her bag next to mine and sat down in the other bean bag chair.

"Your also In my seat" she grinned.

I looked back at the page.

"Read to me" she asked.

"Ok" I said quietly.

I read her a few pages. I stopped seeing her stare at me in the corner of my eye.

"What" i Asked.

She shook her head and Blushed. I read a few more pages until it was next period.

After school -

My siblings were all out. My parents took them to the movies and out to eat. I sat out saying I didn't feel well which wasn't a lie.

I was tired. I went upstairs and laid down. I closed my eyes and the door bell rang. I sighed and got up.

I went down stairs and opened the door.

"Hey" ally said nervously.

"Hey what are you doing here" I asked.

"We really gotta start the poem it's due within a week" she said.

"Oh yeah , come In" I said.

She came in and looked around.

"It's not much but it's home" I said.

"It's beautiful" she smiled.

"My family aren't home right now , let's head to my room" I said nodding to the stairs.

She nodded. We went to my room and she had an awe face.

"I love your room" she said looking at the frame photos of me and Lauren and normani.

"Thanks" I shrugged.

We sat on my bed and worked on a poem for hours. We finally made up something.

"I'll read it out loud" ally said licking her lips.

"Some might say its impossible to describe the color red , without actually saying the word red , red is our hearts, its what beats, beats when I'm close to you, how it beats for you, it's what I feel when you are near , when I wake up in the morning and your the first thing on my mind, what I feel when I hear your laugh, when I see your smile , how I feel when my heart beats every second when I'm with you, red is what i see in the future, seeing you and me, seeing what's near , red is my heart , red is the color of our hearts, our favorite color" ally read out loud.

I clapped. She laughed and felt my heart beat. Just like in the poem. She looked at her phone and groaned.

"I'm late for dinner with my parents, I'll text you later" she said quickly getting up and grabbing her things.

She shoved them in her book bag. She grabbed the poem and handed it to me.

"You can hold onto it" she smiled.

I quickly shook my head. "I'm not very good at being organized , I'll lose it" I said pushing it towards it.

She laughed and put it in her book bag. I walked her down stairs.

"See you tomorrow" I smiled.

"Yeah" she said biting her lip.

She looked at my lips. I felt my face get red. She shook her head and closed her eyes.

"Bye" she stuttered.

"Bye" I blushed watching her walk to her car.
