Chapter twenty three

It's only been four days I really missed ally. I only had three more days and I get to see her.

School has been weird. Lauren and normani have been whispering things and I feel like they're keeping something from me.

I watched them from the doors of the cafeteria room. Lauren laughed at something normani said and put her hand on her thigh.

My eyes widen. Normani whispered something in Lauren's  ear and Lauren blushed and bit her lip.

Are they like a thing? If so , why didn't they tell me ?

My phone started to ring  bringing my attention away from Lauren and normani.

I saw ally's name pop up and I smiled. "Hello" I answered.

"Hi love" ally answered.

"I miss you" I pouted.

"I miss you too, I was thinking , maybe for winter break next month maybe we can go somewhere just me and you" she said nervously.

I can tell that she was chewing on her lip and she was blushing.

"Yeah" I licked my lips.

"Okay, I'll set it up as a romantic weekend" she said.

"Okay" I blushed.

"I got to go, but I miss you" she said.

"I love you" she quickly added.

"I love you too" my face got red.

She hung up and I looked back at Lauren and normani. I walked over to them and they scooted away from each other.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Hey" normani looked down at the table.

They're definitely hiding something.

"Hi" Lauren looked uncomfortable.

"Do you guys want to head out to get something to eat after school, we haven't hung out in awhile" I asked.

"Can't" they both said in sync.

"I'm,  er , Uh, going to my grandmas" normani said.

Your grandma lives in Texas I wanted to say out loud.

"And I'm helping my mom out with a few things" Lauren said.

"Oh, well , text me when you guys want to hang out or something" I shrugged and walked away.

I was hurt that they would lie to me. I went to the library and grabbed the book ally and I were reading.

Later that night

I was still upset from lunch. I laid in bed staring at the tv not paying attention to what was on.

I heard a car honk. I got up and looked out my window. It was Camila's car. I frowned and grabbed my jacket and went outside.

"What are you doing here" I asked confused.

She got out the car. She was crying. "What's wrong Mila" I asked.

"Lauren and normani , did you know" she asked.

"What" I asked.

"That they're a thing, I went to Lauren's house to tell her I still care about her and I saw through the window and her and normani kissing"  she sniffled.

"No but I knew something was up" I frowned.

Camila sniffled. "I shouldn't have come , I'm sorry" she said and walked back to her car. 

"Camila" I called after her.

She shut the door and zoomed off. "Damn it" I cursed and went back inside.
