Kai's performance was over and everyone was waiting for the results
Sehuns pov
Kai was rushing over to us but he got stopped by 2 little girls. The girls gave him flowers and hugged him-how sweet- after that kai started to jog back to us.
This is so cliche but the sun was hitting kai as he ran towards me. I was about to open my arms but chanyeol engulfed kai in his arms.
Oh right.I'm friend A.
After chanyeol finished hugging kai, kai came towards me .
" how did I do?" Kai asked happily
I was having an internal battle about giving him the whole truth or just say he did good when my eyes wandered to his hands. Kais hands are shaking.
" come on how did i do?" Kai's voice trembled a bit but only i noticed. Now Kai was wrapping his hands around himself as if he was trying to comfort himself
" you see those girls that gave you flowers? -kai nods- after your performance they ran to the nearest flower shop just to give you flowers. No one else got flowers except you. Thats how good you are" I explain
" really? Thank you friend A, you're opinion is really appreciated" kai smiles warmly the nervousness and anguish leave kai's beautiful face
"Why? I'm just a normal person with no music knowledge"I explain
" you must be kidding! Friend A you're Oh Sehun! The piano prodigy! You got so many first place awards from piano and other instrument competitions! How could your opinion not matter?" Kai chuckles
The great prodigy... What a load of bullshit.
" My playing days are long gone" I say bitterly
"Why? You used to be so great!" Kai questions
"Alright its time for friend A and B to leave you 2 on your date now" baekhyun chuckled awkwardly as he interrupted our conversation, thankfully
We quickly said goodbye and left them alone
"Wasn't kai so pretty?" Baekhyun asks me now that we are alone
"Yeah but I don't like him" I say
"Haha.... Stop it! You obviously like him" baekhyun laughs
"Yeah but I'm just friend A" I explain
"That's true" baekhyun agrees happily
"Bitch, aren't you supposed to comfort me?" I ask
" of course thats why you're going to invite to get some ice cream" baekhyun gave me his sweet fake smile
"Of course baekkie" I sigh
"Yay"
