"I've been eating my lunch peacefully" I say
Kai looks at as if I'm crazy "you need to come with me, to play! Today is the competition"
" I don't see how thats my problem" I say coldy
"Yes it is! I need you because only you can do this with me'" Kai yells
"No, theres plenty of people you could play with" I argue
"Please I know you're scared but I want to pass to the next round" kai whines
"You're crazy! If you want to pass to the next round just play with someone else" I say
"Please friend A" kai is crying now
"Look I already said no. Theres still time so I'm sure you can get an accompanist and if you cant I have someone who could play with you instead" I explain
I'm tired. I haven't been sleeping well and I really dont want to put myself through another emotional breakdown. Now I can't even get close to pianos because I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I just can't do it.
"Friend A.... Please I need you to believe in me... Do you not believe in me?" Kai is completely sobbing
I feel like a moster for making him cry but I rejected his offer a long time ago. Why can't he just accept that I'm done with music.
"Look. I do believe in you I just don't believe in myself. If I play with you...you're not going to pass" I explain " I can't hear the notes and I throw up everytime I try playing! How is that going to help you pass?"
" Please Friend A play with me" kai begs
I whip out my phone and call Xiumin. He's a great pianist and he plays with great emotion. Something I can't do.
" what are you doing?" Kai asks
I ingore his words and ask Xiumin to meet us at The Phoenix Hall. Thankfully he wasn't busy
"There now you have an accompanist" I say
