I watched my mama walk into our house that had no hot water nor food .
Water got cut off .
I sat on the couch as I watched her grab more clothes .
Me - mama what are you doing ?
Ma - leaving she said in a duh tone
Me - we have no food , no water I said irritated . Bills have to get paid .
Ma - pay them then she said looking at a iPhone 8 .
Momma out here fooling with the 8 and we haven't ate .
Ma - Kharisma baby . I'm tired of being a mama to y'all she just blurted out . I'm tired.
Me - huh ? I asked confused as shit
Ma - I had kids at a young age . I never got to live my life .
I looked at her lost for words .

She shrugged

I nodded and watched as she walked off .
Me - see you later mama , I love you .
She looked back and smiled at me before leaving .
I sat there as tears fell down my face .
I called the food stamp card and was just glad there was $590 on it .
I just can't believe she said that shit .
