"Final count. Forty-two." Legolas announced proudly as he stood next to Gimli with his shoulders back, holding his Bow of the Galadhrim.

"Forty-two?! That's not bad for a pointy-eared Elvish princeling." the dwarf treated him with ridicule as he sat on the corpse of a Uruk-Hai "I am sitting pretty on forty-three."

The elf raised his eyebrow viewing him with disapproval. He drew his bow near to him and released an arrow against the corpse where Gimli was sitting. "Forty-three." he pointed out as he stood tall with a smile on his face.

"He was already dead," Gimli answered while smiling with confidence.

"He was twitching," said Legolas ambling away.

"He was twitching because he's got my axe embedded in his nervous system!" Gimli wiggled the ax handle and the corpse twitched under him.

"Did he now!" Legolas teased as his eyes suddenly cocked his head as he noticed Ethir from afar.

She strode towards them, holding the reins of Hengel (the horse that was given to her by Éomer). She had cleaned her face, though her clothes and hair looked awful. Lost in deep thought she had not noticed the two friends talking. When she finally saw Legolas, it was already too late. She had pumped into him and fallen on her knees next to his feet. She inhaled a sharp breath in disbelief.

"Come!" Legolas said, offering his hand as an aid, glancing at her "It might be a blending living dream of yours, to fall on my feet!"

Ethir grabbed his hand and stood up. She half shrugged at him. Her gaze was pinned against his. "In Your darkest dreams elf!" she replied. She observed that his skin was a bit dirty, the rest of the elf was clean, perfect as always. She tried not to comment about the 'annoying Elf'.

"You look terrible!" he added, while he had scanned her. 'The wicked' girl seemed worn. He could tell now. When he could not feel her dark aura it drew him in. She was surely tired or weary.

"You make me blush!" she rolled her eyes and mocked him. Then she retreated, to follow her path.

Legolas turned to face her. His hand rested against her shoulder as he stopped her "Where are you heading by yourself?" he asked her with a monotonous tone.

"I am going to Isengard. I have to find the antidote for Haldir," she explained, as she stared at him.

"Then let do first what we must do! Gimli, come!" said Legolas "You are not going alone to Isengard. We will ride with you!"

Ethir lifted her arm and let her hand rest against his hand on her shoulder. "You cannot! We will draw too much attention. I will ride alone." she softly spoke.

"It is dangerous! You cannot be serious!" Legolas' voice increased as his grip around her shoulder tightened.

"I have to make sure that the antidote is still there. If you, Gimli, and I show up they will notice us. It will be faster If I go on my own. I know Isengard better than you think. I can walk in and out, without being seen." Ethir clarified.

"Saruman will notice!" Legolas said with a sharp tongue.

"Maybe! Yet, I have to go alone! Even if Saruman finds out. There is nothing to worry about!" Ethir said still looking at him.

"Let her go, lady, let her be!" Gimli cut them off.

"Trust me on this!" Ethir ensured him.
