Knowing Pt 4

It took Reborn a week to figure it out. That the death, the darkness, was him. Confusion flooded his mind. Why would he be the death? And did Tsuna always know?

He thought about it as the moon began to rise. Getting up, he left Ie's room. Opening the door he saw Tsuna again at the window, just as heavenly as before. "So I'm your darkness? Your death?"

Tsuna wouldn't turn around. He couldn't let Reborn see the tears running down his face. He knows but does not remember. Why must life be so cruel?

"That you are."

"Why not tell me sooner? Why keep it a secret?"

"Because you are still not my darkness. You're only the darkness."

Reborn looked confused but didn't answer. I'm the darkness but not his. What could that mean unless... He turned to talk but only saw a Tsuna sleep on the windowsill. He smiled and picked up the teen. Laying him on the bed, he turned to leave, but not before speakingbhis mind. "I will always be yours, as you are mine." Closing the door, he left.

Leaving a blushing Tsuna.

Tsuna had a hard time concentrating the next few days. Reborn's words still rung though his head. Even Ie noticed.

"Tsuna, are you alright? Did you hear me?" Tsuna's head snapped up.

"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine. What were you saying?"

"I was saying that we're going to Italy to see grandpa. Are you coming with us?"

Tsuna's eyes widened. All the way to Italy? "Yeah! Sounds like fun."

Ie looked ecstatic. "Really?! Great! we're leaving tomorrow!" After that he raced home, leaving Tsuna in his thoughts.

Maybe I could visit our clearing...

The plane ride there was normal. If you count the plane shaking due to explosions normal. Thinking back at It, Tsuna was amazed the pilots didn't crash. Then again, they're Vongola.

He got to see his grandfather again (along with the entire staff who welcomed them). Though when night started to fall, he slipped away.

Reborn didn't let this go unnoticed and searched for him. He ran through the dense woods, hoping to spot him.

Then the trees cleared, opening up to a beautiful sight. It was a cliff with a waterfall falling from above into a pond. The pond then fell over the cliff, spraying mist from below. The mist and water caught the light of the sunset perfectly, reflecting oranges and yellows across the clearing. The grass looked untouched yet stayed at ankle length (shhh! It's magic...).

To Reborn though, the most beautiful part was the brunette on the stones by the water, feet dipping in. The way the reflected light made the brown hair shine and the pale skin glow. He was absolutely breathtaking.

Walking across the grass, a sense of familiarity hit him. Where have I seen this before? Tsuna must have sensed him because he turned towards him. The light did even more towards his eyes, making them look like wild fires. Now looking into them, Reborn could think.

"La mia ombra."(my shadow) The whisper carried through the air. These words sent memories through his head.

Reborn gave his infamous smirk. Tears ran down Tsuna's face at his next words.

"Sono a casa, la mia luce." (I'm home, my light)

"He's the what?!"

It took a lot of explaining to get to this point. First explaining to Nono who Tsuna is. Then came Reborn's news. It left everyone in the room amazed.

"He's the god of death and darkness, my other half."

It was deadly silent.

You could hear a pin drop.

Nono was the first to speak. "When I heard rumors that you were the god of death, I didn't know how right they were. Well I guess I'm glad you're on our side."

Everyone sweatdrops. So carefree...

Tsuna sighs as a arm slides around his waist. This is going to be interesting...

He looks up at Reborn. Nope not regretting this at all.
