Gloomy late autumn thoughts

107 26 22

The rain falls down
Along the outskirts of town.
The children play
Though the sky is grey.

The late fall air
Is clean and fair.
All the birds fly south
As there is no food for their mouth.

A snowflake falls
Like a ball
From a hoop.

Winter is drawing near
But don't fear my dear
For it'll be spring soon
And then
We will
Do it
All again.
