Howling (poem)

53 21 10

The shrill scream,
The only howl,
It sounds nearby,
Like a soothing country, lullaby.

The sounds of success,
Or is it distress?
Perhaps we'll never know,
Fore towards the howls, I shall not go.

The noise sounds menacing,
But it could just be a way of, communicating.
Many a night I here this,
A sound from nature, like a good night kiss.

The sound is relaxing,
But every muscles tenses,
At the same time,
For reasons not known.
