The tenth of January came faster than I hoped it would. Before I knew it, I was packing my bags and getting into the car that took me back to JFK International. The cast had thrown me a little leaving party the night before, which ended with me in tears and and lots of hugs being given, despite the fact I knew I'd most likely see them within a month or so anyway. Tom came with me to drop me off at the airport and before we knew it, we were bombarded with paparazzi and news reporters.

"Tom what's her name?"

"Tom how long have you two been seeing each other?"

"Is it true that she's only with you to get some fame?" Tom heard this one and I felt his grip tighten on my waist. He was angry and was trying his hardest to hide it. But instead of replying with the usual "No comment", Tom stopped in his tracks.

"Forgive me for what I'm about to do darling, but I'm sick of all these rumors!" He snapped quietly through his teeth, only loud enough for me to hear. Tom let go of my hand and turned around to face the hoard of people. How did they even know we would be here anyway?

"Firstly, her name is Piper Watson. We've been seeing each other for just over three months now and secondly, no. This is not a publicity stunt to get her into the spotlight, nor is it to get me some air time. We are very much in love, and hope to be for a very long time. Now if you could excuse us, Piper has a flight to catch." He turned on his heels and grabbed hold of my arm, dragging me and my bags towards the check in desk. I was shocked at what had just happened and it took me a moment to realise what Tom had just done. Now the whole world knew my name and within hours, my identity would be plastered all over news papers and magazines and on the internet too no doubt. The hoard of people were still following us, in fact they followed us all the way to security and passport control, where I was the only one who could escape them, Tom had to deal with them while he tried to leave.

Saying goodbye to Tom was difficult. I knew he'd be back in England in two weeks, but I wanted him on that flight with me, holding my hand and kissing the top of my head when I fell asleep and rested my tired head on his shoulders. But Tom couldn't be on that plane and my heart wrenched when we had to go seperate ways. Just before we reached passport control, Tom pulled me into a strong hug, stroking my hair. Flashes of light from the various cameras, made me wish that we could have just this moment in privacy. Tom didn't let it bother him though because he crushed his lips against mine passionately and running his fingers through my hair. I kissed him back just as the flashes of the cameras intensified, I could still see them, even with my eyes closed.

As we both broke the kiss, Tom looked down at me, shooting the sexy smile I fell in love with on the first night I met him. I was glad he was still holding onto me otherwise I quite possibly would have collapsed at the sight of it.

"I'm sorry about what happened a moment ago. I just got so angry I couldn't -" I cut him off by placing my index finger onto his lips.

"Why shouldn't they know the truth? I love you Tom. And if it means the whole world needs to know to get them off our back, then I don't care who finds out. In fact I'm happy the world will know I love you because that means no one else can have you but me!" I squeezed his shoulder playfully and winked at him. It was welcomed by his smile again, just before he pecked my quickly on the lips.

"Thank you for understanding darling. I love you so much! I'll see you in two weeks." he brushed a piece of my hair out of my face and kissed my temple.

"I love you too Thomas. I'll text you when I land. Goodbye darling!" I replied and then picked up my carry on bag and headed towards the entrance to passport control with a little tear in my eye.

Ten hours, forty minutes and thirty seconds later, I landed back at Heathrow and collected my luggage. Jen was waiting for me in the arrivals lounge with a huge smile on her face. She leapt out of her seat and sprinted over to me, engulfing me in a bone crushing hug.
