Author's note:
A bit removed from its originally intended format (an approximately twelve volume manga), bump became my 2012 NaNoWriMo effort and is currently undergoing its first round of concentrated editing during this April's Camp NaNoWriMo.
In the undertaking, I came to realize something I hadn't during the original writing: that ultimately, this story is my heartfelt love-letter to the world.
