I stepped into the cave and looked around, my whole body tense. I could feel that I was not alone, but I could not see anyone near me. "Hello?" I called out, walking towards the blue light. "Who's there?"

Nothing, only silence greeted me. Excitement filled the room, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was double sided like a mirror. Something was watching me, even though I wasn't able to sense them that well.

A blue light shone on a podium, and I couldn't help but wonder if that was the thing that I had seen. It blinked lighter and darker as if it was connected to something.

I paused and closed my eyes, wishing to understand what was being hidden from me. I could sense uneasy movement coming from all around me as people watched what I was doing. I could sense this beating of a drum as it announced my arrival far and wide. I could sense this old magic from this place, waiting for someone to come forward and claim it for themselves.

I opened my eyes and took in a deep breath before letting it out. "Ok, then," I muttered to myself, my voice loud in this cave. "I am not alone, but I am alone. Something... is blocking me from seeing these other people."

The blue light started to beat in a different rhythm as if it was starting to do code. And, if it was starting to do code, then the only thing I could was 'come closer' and 'hurry.'

I bit back a grumble and walked forward, my pace quickening as it started to blink 'hurry' over and over again.

I stopped before I ran into something, my whole body becoming aware of a blockage before my brain did. Taking a deep breath, I reached forward and touched a cool glass panel.

"What the hell?" I asked, watching the blue light still say 'hurry' and 'come closer.' "How?" I asked, but it never stopped saying those words.

'Come closer.' 'Hurry.' The words flashed, and I could sense this urgency in the room. 'Hurry. Come closer.'

I moved my hand across the wall; my fingertips barely grazing it. I calmed my beating heart and took a deep breath, concentrating on the wall in front of me.

I closed my eyes and tried to feel the weakest point on the wall between me and whatever was blinking at me. "Found it," I whispered, feeling the slight crease.

I followed the crease and found another weak spot and another. "A moon?" I asked out loud, opening my eyes. "Is that what it is?"

'Come closer. Hurry,' the light went.

I took a deep breath and made a fist. I punched the wall while I was following how the moon looked. My hand didn't hurt as it broke through whatever was blocking my way from the blinking orb, and I couldn't help but be a little surprised.

"What the fuck?" I asked, looking at my hand to see that it was glowing a goldish whitish color. "What is happening to me?"

'Hurry. Come closer. Hurry.'

I didn't know what to expect when I reached for the ball, but I wasn't expecting this immense amount of knowledge and pain that followed.

Images of warriors filled my mind. They all were blessed with the ability to move the moon's rays towards something that either needed growth or destruction. They were all mainly female, following in the mythology of the Greeks.

However, unlike the Greeks, these Moon Warriors had families, and their daughters were fighters just like their mothers.

The men were strong warriors, but they were not as strong as the females. They were respected, however, and they were called the Sun Warriors.

The Moon had a king and a queen, with the queen ruling over everything. They both were well respected until one man decided that he should rule and not some girl.

This man, a Sun Warrior, sought someone that would make his dream of ruling come true. He found someone, but he lost his life and his soul.

Time went on, and the queen and kings changed until finally, it stopped on a man that looked like my father. A female was beside him, dressed in the armor of the leader of the Moon Warriors. The king had his arm draped around the female, and I could tell that they were a couple.

In her arms was a baby, and for some reason, I knew that that baby was me.

The man that sold his soul and his life had been waking for some time now, and there was amongst the Moon Warriors.

The leader of the Moon Warriors kissed the baby's forehead and handed her to the King, her father. She blessed them both before running towards the place where the Sun Warrior laid, never to be seen again.

As I had noted before, the baby looked like me, so that made me the Princess of not only this place but of the Moon Warriors as well. I couldn't help but wonder if my father knew, which was why he hid me in plain sight.

The Sun Warrior was missing a small piece of a puzzle to make him whole, and I had a feeling that that small piece was me. And, if he had gotten to me, then there was no way in hell to know what would happen next.
