(Y/n) POV

I turn around as I saw Thomas.
"I'm out.. " I heard Madison behind me say as he opens the door and closes it behind him

"You didn't tell me? " he said as his voice cracked

"I couldn't okay! You got away to a different country and I couldn't contact you! So it's your fault that you left me here! " I said as tears roled down my cheeks

I could hear Thomas scoff
"Me?! You were the one who left me and ran away! And you were mad at me! "

"Thomas I was never mad at you! I was mad at Madison because he talked about me! There is no reason that I would be mad at you! I yelled at you and ran away because I just needed a break." I almost screamed as more tears fell.

I could see Thomas's eyes soften from angry to sad "wait really?"

"I can't believe you!" I cried I wanted to run out of the door but Thomas caught my hand and spun me around.

"I'm really sorry (Y/N) that I left you and the baby behind. I swear that I will be there for you two." he said as he kissed me

Philip's POV

"I'm home!"
I yelled

I see mom come in the living room.
"Philip, your home early" she said

"Yeah, I was hanging out with Aunt
(Y/N) but at the end she basically ditched me because she needed to go yell at someone or something.." I said
As mom giggled

"That girl always stays the same" she said softly

"PHIIILIIP!" I heard a annoying but sweet voice yell I look and saw Angelica run up to me and hug me

"Hey Angie" I laugh as I hugged her back

"Well anyway dinners gonna be ready soon. Don't forget to bring the dinner up to your father Philip." Ma said as she walked into the kitchen

I sighed as I saw Angie frown
"When will dad join us for dinner?" she said as she sniffled

"Dad promised soon Angie. Don't cry. Anyway let's go do something"

"like what?" she said as she instantly smiled

"Hmm.. Nothing to do here so let's go into town!" I said as we got out.

"Hey Philip? Isn't that daddy?" Angie asked as we saw him going somewhere. If he is going to work he would take his papers but this time he had nothing on him.

"that's weird... Why did he go out of the back door? Why couldn't he just go though the front door?" I asked

I could hear Angie gasp "What if daddy is hiding something from us" she looked at me as she smiled
"We need to follow him!"

As much as I wanted to, I had a bad feeling about this.

"I don't know Angie..." I said
"Oh Philip please! Do you want to know what daddy is hiding? Maybe if we see this then we will know the truth on why he isn't home much!" she said as she pleaded

"That would help to know what he's doing..." I mumbled as I looked at Angie's puppy eyes

I sigh "Fine. Let's go"
"Wooho! Angelica wins again!" She said as she dragged me behind a tree as we watched where Pa was going.

And a hour passed as he still walked.
I sat on the ground as Angie looked
"I knew this is a bad idea! He is walking forever!"

"Come on Philip! We can't give up yet! If he is going this long to get or talk to this thing then it's special!" she said as she took my hand as we walked

"Look! He's going into a house!" I said as we tried to look at the house windows but all where black

"This isn't fair! We can't look at them!"
Angie said as we walked to a tree and sat down behind it.

I sighed as I looked at Angie and saw that she was crying.

"A-Angie why are you crying?" I said I hugged her

"I just wish that our family is the same as before! When daddy was always there for me and mom and you!  When he would always come to dinner and have some time to play with us!  But now he can't even talk to us..  Mom is now busy herself with all of our brothers and sister.." she said as she sobbed

I sighed.  "It will be okay..." I said.  I didn't know what else to say.  I don't know what to say when a girl cries..
That's why I should not have a wife.

I looked up and saw dad
"Pa?!" I said as I freaked out
I looked at him and saw his soft face
"Daddy?" Angie sniffed as she looked up.

The next thing I knew dad huge both of us "Angelica, I knew that I would hurt you by not being home that much and being there for all of you but I didn't know that it hurt that much for you" he said as I could see a tear role down his cheek as he hugged Angie.  Angie now sobbed louder as she hugged Pa back.

"And Philip next time don't follow me." dad said as he looked at me

"What?! It was Angie's ide-" I looked at the house where dad was earlier going in and I saw it was a different man.

"I knew that you two were following me so I follow you for a while." he said as he smiled and I could hear Angie giggle "Really daddy? "

"Well anyway" Pa said as he got up and helped Angie get up "Let's go and have some fun!"

"What do you mean?" (Omg everytime it reminds me of that song..) I asked confused

"I mean let's go walk around in the city and go to a cafe or something" he said as he smiled ( I don't know if there was a cafe back in the Hamilton days but just imagine that there was.)

"Dad,  Really?" I asked as Angie as she  hugged Pa "Thank you daddy!"
"you're welcome darling." he said.
