Midari sat at her desk and watched as the other students left. She had been instructed to wait in her classroom for the anonymous writer to come. This was such a waste of her time. It definitely couldn't be Yumeko so Midari didn't understand why she was even waiting here. She probably wouldn't even care about what the person had to say. For once, she actually hoped they didn't want to gamble. Midari scoffed and turned to look out the window. She hoped to see Yumeko leaving if she hadn't already missed her. No such luck. Midari didn't see Yumeko at all. She sighed, entirely disappointed. Of course I missed seeing Yumeko. Midari thought. That's just my luck these days.
The sound of the classroom door opening caught Midari's attention. She turned to see who was coming in. Her jaw dropped when she saw who it was, her heart beating quickly. It was an angel.
