Kate Cross and Tom Holland Wrap Up Filming for the Third Time with Mystic Fatale

After co-starring in Marvel films such as Captain America: Civil War and Spiderman: Homecoming, onscreen and offscreen couple Kate Cross and Tom Holland have finally finished filming for the newest Marvel movie, Mystic Fatale.

The movie is obviously focused on Cross's character, Mystic Fatale, but also includes Holland's well known character, Spiderman, who also plays her love interest. And although we expected to see the same vibe we saw in Spiderman with the whole teenage superhero, hidden identity, and typical high school struggles, Cross reveals that the movie will be taking a slightly different direction.

As Marvel's first female superhero centralized film, the movie will show exactly what it's like being a crime fighting super-woman in a male hero dominated world.

"It's super important for me to be a role model for little girls who strive to be as brave and responsible as the character I play. This movie is going to show just how awesome girls can be as superheroes and that it's not just a boy thing. It's also going to be super relatable, because behind the mask, Mystic Fatale is a regular teenage girl." Cross says.

We couldn't be happier with her response! Along with that, even though our beloved duo, Spideyfatale, is reunited for the film, it's reported that the movie won't be so focused on their love life as much as it has in previous films.

"They wanted to make sure that they weren't making this a romance movie and were focusing on Mystic Fatale being a hero as much as possible. They wanted to give her the same treatment and storyline as any other male solo film would get. But obviously, this isn't like any other Marvel film, they have to show off one of their strongest characters. It's honestly what Mystic Fatale deserves." Holland states supportively to his known girlfriend and co-star.

It's undeniable though that there will be some chemistry between Mystic and Spidey, which should leave us for what feels like is going be an agonizingly slow wait until to movie comes out.
