the skin sheds// a new one arrives
the cocoon breaks// a butterfly.
i am going down// but i am still high
no oxygen// yet i am alive.
petals drop// new buds are born
the rose// it comes with a thorn.
the road's wet// dew on grass
the rain's a thunder//yet it's a wonder
we die// we live
we survive// we do tricks
there's nothing so negative//
in every positive
yet there's always a positive//
in every negative
its how we perceive//
how we achieve
if we know how to love,
