"wow, you live here alone?" yuta gawped as he explored the apartment, making winwin shrug.

"yeah."

"hey winwin," yuta said, finally falling onto his couch, "how many boyfriends have you had?"

"what?" winwin coughed, flustered at the sudden question. "uh, one."

"then who's the girl?" he asked again, making winwin sigh.

"look, cheng xiao was just a friend. she moved to china from america a few years ago, and people used to make fun of her because she couldn't speak mandarin properly, but i defended her. we became really close after that, until i left..."

yuta watched as winwin shook his head. "anyway, that was a while ago. you hungry?"

"not really," yuta muttered. "winwin, come sit here."

"let me just—"

"now."

winwin paused, frowning at yuta as he walked over and sat next to him. yuta rested an arm around his shoulder and slid closer to him. winwin froze.

"yuta."

"hm?"

"are you gay?"

silence.

yuta pretended not to hear, mainly because the question caught him off-guard. he didn't know how to answer.

winwin stood up. "i know you're not, so stop it. you're acting weird."

yuta, instead of replying, pulled winwin back down, making him fall on his back. yuta crawled on top of him, trapping the thin boy between his legs.

"be honest with me," yuta huffed, "why do you think i stare at you in class? why do you think i got mad seeing a girl confess to you? why do you think i stopped bullying you?"

winwin's breath hitched in his throat. his mind was buzzing with thoughts, all of which made no sense.

"get the hint, winwin," yuta smirked, leaning down closer to the boy. "i like you."

before winwin could react, yuta pressed his lips harshly against him.
