-Have one concept per card unless you need to learn a combination of facts.

-Don't overload your card with information. You should be able to absorb the information in one glance.

-Have pictures and words to help you remember information e.g. for science and have a diagram and some facts.

-Say your answers out loud as the brain will remember that easier.
•
-Review the cards you get wrong more often.
•
-Write content so the flash card can be tested from either side e.g. for french write the french on one side and english on the other.
•
-Avoid using the same term for multiple cards as you'll only get confused.
•
-Don't rely on flash cards if you haven't understood what you're learning. Understand then memorise!
•
-Keep the cards with you so you can learn them in your free time.
•
-Walk around as you review the flash cards to improve concentration.
