Blackouts for me consist of a moment in time where I can see what someone else is saying and who they are saying it to. It's kind of like, I'm in their brain. Anyways back to the blackout: "Has Dylan brought her back yet?"

"Not yet sir. He's only been gone for a week, sir. The other men return after about a month and some longer."

"Stop calling me sir, it's Deraci! I get that it takes a while, but he's the best so far, unless Instructor Gray lied."

"No, si- I mean Mr. Deraci, Gray didn't lie. Dylan Werst hasn't lost a fight yet. Do you want to see his record?"

"No I don't want to see his record! All I care about is getting Alexander back! Is there any possibility that the boy doesn't want to come back?" Yells Deraci.

"Last time they checked he was 100% with the Center, which was the day he left."

"So there is a chance that he used this as a way the escape! So we need to send more soldiers to find and bring back Alexander!"

A door opens in the room and closes a second later. "Mr. Deraci calm down. We can't risk any more soldiers for her. It's one child, I get she is good, but we can train these children to be just as good," says a deep voice.

Mr. Deraci turns to see Dr. Fondu. "I want this child back, though Dr."

"Fine if the boy doesn't return in two and a half weeks, we will send out a search party for both of them," resigns Dr. Fondu.

"I can deal with that," replies Mr. Deraci. He then walks out of the room.

I open my eyes and see Dylan's worried eyes in my face. "Macy!" I scream.

"No it's ok you fainted and fell down the stairs," Dylan states.

"I know. Macy!" I scream again.

"What is it child? Stop screaming!" Macy comes to the top of the staircase and looks down at us. Her face pales. "Blackout?"

I nod in response. She hurries down the stairs and picks me up and sets me on the couch and Dylan hobbles behind us. "Speak child what happened?"

"Deraci thinks he ran away," I point at Dylan, "They said if he's not back in two and a half weeks they are coming to find both of us. It's bad I didn't realize how much Deraci wants me back. He wants to send every newbie out to get me," I say.

"Wait, what's a blackout?" Dylan asks.

"So we have two weeks to get him out of here and on his way back to Center. Ok, new plan time. Dylan you are staying for two weeks now," states Macy.

"Wait, what? I don't want him here for two more weeks!" I shout, "One week is already too long, how am I to last two weeks?"

"To bad he's your problem now. I have things that need to be done this week, so I still leave tomorrow," Macy is thinking. Nothing good comes out of her thinking, my stomach started to fall.

"Wait, hold up. I have that hunting training trip in six days! He's not trusted to stay here alone! What am I suppose to do then? He can't stay for two weeks!" I say happily.

"Um. Why don't I just leave now?" Chimes in Dylan.

"Dylan, shut up. You can't leave now you'll lead them right to us," I say looking at him.

"But what if I don't?"

"Please, it's your job to take me back, you're going to tell them."

When I turn to talk to Macy again, my eyes widen when I don't see her.
