I would like to say that before you start reading the story, this story will have so many real people instead of made up. The main character being Selena, Selena Quintanilla (the original one. Or as some people would say, the one with more talent). Even though she was unfortunately shot and killed in real life, she will not die in the book. So, Selena Quintanilla does have a little bit of a different personality. In some parts she will be a bit sassy. This is not how I actually see her. In fact, I see her as a total role model. This is just for a book. She will have the same family, but different friends. Her friends are two former wrestlers. One being Candice Michelle. I know she doesn't speak Spanish, but in this book Candice will be Mexican-American, as well as Maria. There will be other real people included. Selena's lifestyle will be different. (I would recommend you to watch the Selena movie. It's so good!) I would also recommend that you know some Spanish because I will be using it. This story takes place in the 1990's, so obviously there aren't any modern phones. Not even flip phones.
