Blackness

there was nothing but inky darkness,

it was as if you had been flung into a seemingly endless void trapped in the eternal darkness, just left to float in the weightlessness of it all. Completely free from all the pain, suffering and heartbreak of the world. just floating in peaceful nothingness

and for the first time in months, you felt content.

Until a sudden burning sensation filled your lungs and you coughed up a gallon of water, wrenching as your body sought to rid itself of the liquid. The cold air stung your throat as you laid there fighting for breath.

Rain pelted your already sodden body as you fell back onto the jagged stones of the shoreline still fighting to breathe. By some miracle, the river current had washed you ashore saving you from the very grizzly fate of drowning. You let time pass you by as you work on gathering your thoughts

Ok, so 1. You're not dead- score 1 to you
2. You appear to still have some of your stuff- that's also good
3. You're stranded in the middle of god knows where And Paul probably thinks your dead- that's bad -1
4. Your ankle is killing you- owww -1
5. You're out in the open and exposed to zombie's and if they don't kill you first then laying here will give you pneumonia for sure

All in all, you were sure that things couldn't get any worse.

Shaking with the effort you finally managed to stand. Slipping and shambling up the bank you went off to find a place to stay for the night.

Little did you know a dark silhouette was watching your struggle intently.

The Hunters dead eyes narrowed as it cast its mind back to the events that had happen only mere hours before.

///////flash back/////////

"THAT LITTLE BITCH"
screaming in fury as I watched the hood fall away revealing a head of (h/l) (h/c) hair of a very alive girl!!!!

"HOW DEAR SHE TRICK ME!!!"

"OH SHE'LL PAY, I'LL MAKE HER PAY FOR THIS"

Leaping forward I quickly gave chase after the metal box. I had a head start on the others but that still didn't stop me from picking up speed.

It growled at the memory flashing through its skull. Lightly touching the dripping wound across its face with one clawed hand remembering the damage you had inflicted with that acoustic shovel
A flash of lightning flared across the sky, making it jump.

//"I'm going to enjoy killing this one"//

It thought, moving to follow your retreating figure as It headed down the rushing river.
