Rainbow Dash's POV

I walked through the hallway, trying to get to my class when I suddenly made eye contact with a familiar dude with green eyes and navy hair. He smiled slightly. I saw his cheeks go slightly red then hurry past me. I could also feel the heat in my cheeks.

"I think... I kinda like you..."

Those were his exact words two days ago. He... likes me? Or at least... he thinks he does.

After that, I didn't really know how to react. I was just shocked and a bit giddy for some reason.

I remember every single detail.

I stood there, shock and excitement building up inside me. I didn't really know what to say or do. What should I say?

I just stayed silent. After a while, Soarin broke our embrace then looked at me in the eyes. He smiled.

"It's okay if you don't return my feelings, Rainbow. But I hope you'll return it someday."

I saw a tint of sadness in his eyes and a blush stained his cheeks. Suddenly, I felt a pair of lips land on my forehead and hand hold the back of my head, drawing it closer to his. He lets go after a few seconds then smiles and said,

"See you at school, Dashie." Then walked away, leaving me a blushing mess.

I shook my head, trying to erase that memory. I can see a few people looking at me strangely. I guess I shook my head too much.

I walked to the classroom and sat on my chair, waiting for Flutters.

"Hey, Crash!" Oh cheesesticks...

"What do you want now?!" I asked in annoyance, facing them.

"Admit it, Crash," Gilda said. "Are you happy with Soarin now?"

I blushed when I heard his name and covered my face to not let them see it. "H-how many times do I have to tell you guys? We a-aren't dating!" Not yet, we're not...

Wait, what?

"Oh really? Then, why don't you... explain this?"

Lightning Rust suddenly shoved her phone on my face. Before it slipped off, I caught and took a good look at it.

"Wait, how did you...?!"

"Being silent, Crash. We were being silent."

"But how did you even get in?!"

A lot of students were looking at us but I didn't care. I only cared about what Rusty showed me.

In the picture, Soarin's arms were wrapped around me while his lips were on my forehead. How in the world was she able to sneak in the garden like that? I thought grass is noisy?

"Hey, calm down! You're making them look at us!" Gilda said.

"I don't care! Why did you-! Wait, don't tell me..."

"Yup! We're posting this on the internet to show how much of a thief you are! 'Rainbow Dash, proven to be lying about Lightning Dust cheating on Soarin just so they would break up she could have him' or something like that."

"You guys are the worst!"

"Thank you!~"

"Give me that phone!" I yelled, trying to get it once they snatched it back.

"No way~"

That's it! I've had enough of this! I used my super speed to snatch the phone and run through the hallways.

"HEY!!" I heard them yell.

I ran around a corner then tried to unlock the phone. Man, what's the password?

I tried thinking carefully about what the password would be, instead of putting random things that pop into my head.

Just as I thought of another possibility of being her password, I heard a voice. "Rainbow Dash? What are you doing here?"

Oh shoot. Not him again...

"Not now," I said, trying not to look at him.

"Aren't you supposed to be in class? And- wait, is that Lightning Dust's phone?"

"Yeah."

"What are you doing with it?"

"Trying to unlock it so I can delete the picture of something that involves me."

"Lemme try."

Our fingers brushed into each other as he took the phone from my hands. I looked at his fingers as he tries to unlock the phone. Surprisingly, it worked.

"W-wha-? How?"

"As usual. Lightning Dust kept the password."

"What was it?"

"soarinslove1"

"Eww."

Sappiness, blegh...

I got the phone from his hands and deleted the photo. I've got to return it as soon as possible or else they might think I'm a thief.

"What was the picture?" Soarin suddenly asked.

"Nothing," I said quickly.

"Is it something about us?"

I stayed silent, biting my lip. I didn't really want to talk about what happened two nights ago. It's a bit embarrassing and awkward for me.

"Yeah, something like that..."

I bit my lip then just walked to Rusty's locker and tried putting her phone inside.

"Hey Rainbow, can I ask you something?" I heard him say. I didn't notice that he actually followed me.

"What is it?"

"Well... I just... wanted to know your... answer."

Oh shoot. What now? Do I like him? But, we barely even knew each other.

"Dash?"

"Soarin, I..." I hesitated. "I'm sorry. But... I don't... well..." Man. I know he's an idiot and he gets on my nerves sometimes but I still can't hurt his feelings. He doesn't deserve to rejected but, I just can't date someone who I don't like.

"I... I understand, Dash." I heard him say and rushed off somewhere.

I feel so bad. Part of me regrets rejecting him. Like, it's glad that Soarin confessed but regrets rejecting him. Man, I feel so bad.

I sighed and pushed the phone into the locker and went back to class.

Once I got there, I see a lot of students glaring at me.

"Where's my phone?!" Rusty asked.

"Chill, chill. It's in your locker." I said and went to my chair. I looked out the window while resting my head on my hand.

"Are you daydreaming avout Soarin?"

"Would you please leave me alone for at least 5 minutes!" I yelled, causing them to step back a little.

After a while, I felt a hand touch my shoulder. "What?" I snapped and looked behind me. Turns out, it was Flutters. "Sorry, Flutters."

"It's fine. What happened? You seem so... grumpy and sad."

"I don't want to talk about it right now."

Flutters nodded and went back to her seat. Sigh. I wanna go home and just forget about all that happened today.
