The News

Yang POV
I heard the door open, I ran Down the stairs expecting to see Y/N, but it was Qrow and mom.
Me: oh.....did you see him?
Qrow: Yang....sit down
Me: where's Y/N?
Mom: please sit down.
I did as I was told and they sat down too.
Qrow: there's no easy way to say this but.....
Y/N.....he's dead
I felt my heart snap in two.
Me: no.....no.....NO!
I went on my hands and knees and started crying. I felt Raven come next to me.
Raven: I'm sorry, there was nothing we could do
Me: Y/N!!!
From upstairs the baby started crying
Qrow: I got the kid
He went upstairs
Raven: Yang look at me, he's in a better place
TimeSkip 45 minutes
Elizabeth POV
We were taking a test until the intercom made a sound
Intercom: may the following students please come down to my office....Jason PL/N, Olivia L/N, and Elizabeth L/N....that is all
Jason and I got up out of the class and went out, Nora and Ren had the look of sadness in their eyes, it was pouring down rain as well.
Jason: what's going on?
Ren: inside the office, your mother is here with your Great Uncle and Grandmother
Olivia came up behind me
Olivia: what's going on?
Nora: come on
We went into the office and sat down, Mom's eyes were red.
Jason: Mrs. Xiao Long...are you alright?
She looked up at Jason, he then sat down.
Qrow: well, I have good news and bad news
Yang: what the fucks so good about this news?
Qrow looked at her.
Qrow: I was trying to make it easier on them
Raven: I don't think there is an easy way to say this
Qrow: well.....your father is dead
Me: w-what?
Olivia looked broken.
Olivia: how?! We just saw him
Raven: he was on his way home, we saw his car flipped, we saw him.....and we saw what did it
Jason: you mean he was.....k-killed
Qrow: snapped in two, but from the looks of it he didn't go without a fight...the Grimm has cuts, and a sword in its eye
Me: but how? Dad is the strongest guy I know.
Qrow: no matter who you are, there is someone stronger than the strongest
Olivia: what kind of Grimm.......?
Tears were rolling down her face, hitting the ground.
Qrow:......The Te Deum
The three of us looked at him.
Olivia: Dad.......
Raven: you three need to stick together no matter what....
Me: it looks to me like you don't care
Yang: Elizabeth....stand down
Raven: I care about your father, I met him many years ago
Me: then why don't you act like it
Yang: Stand Down!
I left the room and slammed the door behind me.
3rd POV
Jason: I'll go get her
Cheeseburger followed Jason out. Elizabeth was walking through the rain and Jason ran out after her.
Jason: Elizabeth!
Elizabeth: you heard how she was talking, like she didn't care
Jason: she doesn't show emotion like you and me, listen, I don't know what it's like to lose someone like this, but I miss him.
Elizabeth: I lost him once.....now it's a definite.....
Jason got closer to her, the rain now beginning to lighten up a little.
Jason: we need to go back inside.
Olivia: he's right
She was standing by them
Elizabeth: where did you come from?
Olivia: peaches dragged me out
The cougar Grimm sat down next to Cheeseburger
Jason: Raven is right though, the three of us have to stick together, we will get stronger together, then we can take on this Grimm
Olivia and Elizabeth smiled.
?????: you aren't going without me
They turned around to see John Rayner
Olivia: what are you doing here?
John: I heard the news, I'm not going to stand by and let you three take on a Grimm like that alone, I've heard of your father, the Dark Swordsman, he did what was right always, now it's up to us.
Olivia smiled at John. When Elizabeth saw this she smirked, she knew exactly what Olivia was thinking. The rain then stopped and it became bright
John: lets fucking do this!
Jason: Damn straight!
Elizabeth: guess we have our own team
Olivia: can't have a team without mascots
The two baby Grimm started jumping around.
Qrow looked out the window.
Qrow: well I'll be damned
