Olivia POV
I sat down at the table as Qrow brought out a piece of paper
Qrow: you're the Swordsman in the family, since your father isn't here I'll be the one passing it to you...when you turn 17 he wanted you to become the next Dark Swordsman
Me: wouldn't it fall to a man?
Qrow: Legends are not known by their gender, but by the story they lived their life with, I hope you'll be able to give this to the Swordsman in your family.
Me: I can't take my dad's title
Qrow: he wants you to, ever since your fifth birthday when you got your first sword
I looked at a display case by the door with my first sword, right above Elizabeth's Gauntlets.
Me: ok.....I'll take it
Qrow: that's what we all like to hear
He got up and went out to the living room with a flask. I sat at the table, I then got up and went to my bed. I fell asleep, everything went blurry. I woke up in a place of clouds.
Me: Hello?!
????: hey Kid
I turned around and I saw Dad with both his arms and eyes.
Dad: armor looks good on you
Tears filled my eyes and I ran towards him.
Me: what's happening, I thought you were dead
Dad: well Angels can speak to people in their dreams, I decided to come talk to you.
Me: it's....it's good to see you....I'm sorry we fought when you were alive
Dad: Olivia, you're an L/N. That's what we do, we fight, everything that moves.
Me: but I feel like I was a shit daughter
Dad: I was a shit dad, I never did a damn thing right raising you, but I'm glad you came out alright, also I like your boyfriend, much better than that bitch boy Anthony
Me: yeah....he's more of a fighter
Dad: haha, you're like your mother, a fighter that likes fighter
Me: did you see the fight?
Dad: I'm glad you got revenge for me.
Me: hey Dad I do have a question for you
Dad: anything sweetie
Me: did you really want me to become the Dark Swordsman
Dad: of course, ever since you were a little girl
Me: aren't I still your little girl
Dad: you can be 80 and you'll still be my little girl, tell your mother I said hi, your alarm is about to go off
Me: what?!
My alarm went off, making me come out of my dream.
Me: damn....
I got up and mom was making breakfast
Mom: hey Olivia, how'd you sleep
Me: not too bad, hey Mom, I have to tell you something
Mom: what is it?
Me: Daddy says hi
She stopped what she was doing
Mom: h-how?
Me: he spoke to me in my dream, he proud of us
She began crying
Me: aw don't be upset
Mom: not upset....I'm happy he's still thinking of us
We both hugged eachother
Me: sit down ma, I'll make breakfast today
Mom: when do you make breakfast?
Me: since I learned to use a toaster
Mom: when was that?
Me: last night before I went to bed
Mom: oh ha ha
They both began arguing in a friendly manner over who was going to make breakfast.
Meanwhile at the Cave
Anthea was walking through the cave.
Anthea: incredible......what's this
She went over to cave paintings.
Anthea: about a great Swordsman, feared across the land, taking on a deadly beast
It showed a blond warrior fighting a Te Deum. She dropped her torch as it rolled towards a nest with three broken egg shells and more cave paintings.
Anthea looked at them
Anthea: though the great evil will never be vanquished, it was kept at....bay.....oh no
In the darkness of the cave, six bright orange lights shined. Anthea widened her eyes as she backed away slowly. She then saw razor sharp teeth underneath every two orange lights. She then turned and ran as 3 Grimm came from the cave and roared. She ran out and 3 Juvenile Te Deums stood in front of the cave and roared.
