Anna's POV:

I was helping my mom make dinner when the front door opened revealing... ELSA AND JACK!!!
Oh, how I wish they would get their lives together and date already... but they can't really do that now that Elsa is taken. *mentally rolls eyes*
I don't like Brandon. Don't tell Elsa I said that.

"Hey mom. Hey Anna. I'm home. And Jack is here," Elsa said as they walked into the kitchen. They sat on the bar stools.

"I haven't heard that name in a while," mom muttered. I tried not to laugh. "How are you Jack? We haven't seen or heard from you in a long time," mom said.

"I'm good, Mrs. Arendelle. Sorry I haven't been around often. I've been busy," he said. He claims that but we all know the real reason. (That is, Elsa being with her boyfriend all the time and rarely being with Jack).

"That's alright dear. Are you staying for dinner?" Mom asked. "Would you stay forever and be with my sister?" I muttered under my breath. Mom was the only one who heard and she laughed a little bit but she tried to be silent and it worked.

"I wouldn't want to impose-" he started but mom cut him off.

"No, imposition at all. You are welcome here anytime you want to be here," mom said. He just smiled gratefully.

"Mom, what are you making for dinner?" Elsa asked.

"We are having steak with mashed potatoes and corn," mom said. That meal is by far my favorite and dad's also.

"That sounds good," Elsa said.

We talked for a few minutes until...

"Elsa, will you please help me get something from the garage?" Mom said. Elsa nodded and they went to the garage. I made sure nothing burned in the house. Bad decision really but I'm trying my best.

So it was just me and Jack. I'm gonna ask him some questions... He was about to drink some of his water that he got earlier. *grins evilly*

"So... are you and Elsa together yet?" I asked. He almost spit all of his water out of his mouth when I asked that. That was hilarious. He was choking a little bit and I couldn't stop laughing. After a while, the laughter and choking died down then he answered.

"No, Anna. We're not..." he said.

"And why not?" I asked.

"You know exactly why not," he said. I gave him an "explain why" expression. He sighed and started to explain.

"Look. I love Elsa, I really do. We just aren't meant to be I guess. She's with Brandon right now. She's so happy with him. Have you seen the way she smiles when she's with him. So yeah, I love her. I should have confessed to her a long time ago but I didn't and now I'm paying the price because of it," he said.

"Jack, I'm sure if you confessed to her, she would give you a chance or think about it at least. She-" I was cut off by Jack.

"Anna, I know that you want me and your sister to work but she is happy right now and I don't want to take that happiness away from her by telling her something that can quite possibly ruin our friendship. She's happy so I'm happy," he explained.

"But you're not happy. You're miserable," I said.
He just shrugged.

"I'll be fine..." he said.

Before I could say anything else, Elsa and mom walked back inside from the garage carrying two 40 packs of water. They looked to be struggling a little bit.

"Here, let me get those for you guys," Jack said.

"Why thank you Jack! You could just set that on the floor by the fridge," mom said. He nodded and did just that.

We talked for a while then dad got home.

"Jack! It's so good to see you," dad greeted before giving him a hug.

"It's good to see you too, Mr. Arendelle," Jack said.

Dad then greeted the rest of us.

"So, what's for dinner?" He asked.

"It's our favorite dad," I said.

"Awesome. Steak with mashed potatoes and corn," he said and high fives me. We all laughed.

Elsa and Jack were having their own little conversation. I wonder what about...

Elsa's POV:

"So, what did you and Anna talk about while I was helping my mom?" I asked. I was curious. Anna can tend to be a bit embarrassing. He blushed? I wonder why?

"Nothing really," he said. I didn't believe that for a second.

"Really, Jack? You're blushing. What did you talk about? You can't lie to me," I giggled.

"Okay. We were just talking about relationships," he said.

"Are you in a relationship yet?" I asked.

"No. I'm still waiting for the right girl," he said seeming sad. "I'll find her one day though or maybe I already did but I just haven't realized it yet," he added and smiled.

"You'll find her I just know you will," I said and hugged him. He hugged back.

"Let's go eat dinner, shall we?" He asked. I giggled and said, "We shall."

~After dinner~

"I should really get going. I've got work tomorrow and I have to help my parents with Emma's birthday party," Jack said.

"Thank you for coming Jack! Please visit more often," mom said as she hugged him.

"Yeah, Jack. You're always welcome in the Arendelle residence," my dad said. He hugged him as well.

"Don't be a stranger, dude. Come by sometimes," Anna said hugging him.

"I'll try my best," Jack said chuckling.

"I'll walk you out," I said.

After they said their goodbyes, Jack and I walked out of the house. It was a silent walk to his car. We didn't talk much all evening after I asked about what him and Anna talked about.

"I'll see you later alligator," I said. I said that because I remember we always used to do that when one of us would leave. I brought it back.

"Not for a while crocodile," he said. He was about to get in the car when I pulled him into a hug. He hugged back.

"Please, visit us more. I miss you," I whispered burying my face in his shirt.

"I will do my best," he said.

I pulled away and smiled at him.

"Drive home safely. Okay?" I said.

"Okay. I will. I'll see you tomorrow at work," he said.

I walked toward my house a little bit more when he got in the car and closed the door. He looked at me and waved with a smile. I waved back. Then he left.

I really do hope he visits us more often.
