Dear XXXXXX,
Today was the scholarship awards ceremony for seniors. My older brother got one of the best scholarships the school had to offer. I was so proud of you for winning eight scholarships. When I heard your name being called up as the valedictorian, I wanted to hug and congratulate you. But when the ceremony ended, all I could do was walk up to you and say "good job" and "congratulations." Your graduation is still next week, so I only have a week left to see you. I will surely miss you for a long time. Will you miss me too?
